He's right about his the last part.
I think the last part he said about his mom is really important. I see it a lot, that parents praise their child for everything they do even though it's pretty average or below. Those kids make fun of other kids (who don't hear that from their parents) because they think they're better than them
I know this comment is three years old but I personally have to disagree. Parents play a big part in how self confident the child is gonna be. Something as little as not appreciating a drawing can set things the wrong direction. Kids who bully or like to humiliate other children have issues with being sure of themselves so they bring others down to feel better.
