Make a video on what NOT to put in the portfolio. Most of us struggle to eliminate the less relevant projects. Of course this would be subjective but an idea about this would be good :)

Thank u didi for saying that the logo question has a chance to come from the logos of the sponsors of the exam ,which can be seen from the website, and you also told it in Kaphal studio. I wrote the UCEED and a question based on the logo came from one of its sponsors.
I am really disappointed. The question paper for Part-A was too much time taking and extended. It was different from previous year question papers.
seriously..and no factual/ "see and tick " questions were there unlike previous years😭 All had to be solved

Hello didi, I'm in class 12th and a little skeptical about pursuing design. I'm interested in the field and the activities associated with it.. but feel that I might not be able to produce the level of creative content that's required to excel. How could I judge my creativity? And do you feel that I should pursue design even if there's a slight doubt?

You won't know how creative you are until you start making stuff..
creativity is a skill.... you can sharpen yours with practice..

Hi Anjali, please make a video on how you prepared for NID since the pattern has changed now and last year question papers are not available online.
I barely crossed the cut off for NID. I don't think I am in a position to talk about my NID exam.
If you could tell us about Mdes at IIT Delhi rank, process etc, everyone talks about the top colleges.. Idc, iit guwahati, NID...Could not find anything on internet about delhi.

Did you have any work experience before applying for CEED? Also, what process should UG students follow for creating a portfolio who don't actually have any industry projects or work experience?
I did have 2-3 years experience.
Anyone else felt that none of the answers were correct/matching in the draft answer keys??
The draft answer key matches the question paper they provided. You need to match your response sheet to the question paper and then the draft answer key.
I felt the Rani ki Vav, Konark temple wheel question ,answer should be D.but they gave B in the draft.Similarly the Mahindra logo question..

The order of questions in 'responses' is different compared to the answer key and question paper,. Check your answers again comparing question paper, answer key , and draft
I have a question related IID entrance and I know you'll make me understand for sure.
watched many of your videos but didn't find the answer of my question.
My question is- if I want to do masters in design in iid than I'll have to go through a interview round and there they'll ask for my design portfolio. But what to showcase in my portfolio if I did my bachelor's in mechanical engineering and a certificate course in graphic design in past ?
And another question is -
Like I did my certificate course in graphic design and I'll like to pursue my M.desg. in transportation and automation design then I'll have to showcase my portfolio with automobile design or sketches only. Isn't ?

So like do you have to make your own projects?? Like whatever you think bothers you enough to feel like changing you can just design something for it esaa ya fir you have to work with people for that??please help.

How did you qualify by scoring 51?
I had scored 52 and I did not qualify.
What are your thoughts on part-A? What do you think the maximum marks one could score (obviously one can score 100, but realistically)? What do you think the cut-off could be ???
This is difficult to answer. But I heard someone score 50+ while many are saying their scores are between 30-35. That is all I know.
can you tell us what to expect in the interaction design paper on NID? What do i expect in the domain specific paper?
Last year they gave us real-world problems and asked us to think of solutions for them. For example A solution for the pollution problem in Delhi. They also asked us one-line definitions of generic terms like 'UX' 'UI' 'affordance' etc.

Wanted to ask a quick question, since I'm doing a Bcom (which is a three year course), official websites of IITs state that the eligibility for mdes is a bachelor's in arch/engineering/design, that too 4 year degrees! Since I really want to get in IDC in the future, what is it that I can do to fulfill the eligibility criteria? I would be very grateful if you helped me out with this.

Is NID easier than CEED?
I don't know if you can compare it like that but in my opinion, CEED is easier because they give you constraints in the questions while NID questions are more open-ended. But this can be vice versa too since NID gives you more creative freedom. It is subjective. (my opinion is based on CEED 2020, NID Interaction Design and Information Design 2020 question papers)

12.6 is your total or your part-a score multiplied by 0.25 as considered in the final score?

Mine was pdf, but many people showed websites and also physical portfolios. You have to choose what works the best for you

@@sagarstark don't worry, that doesn't effect your answers, they will go through them... Exam hall main they mentioned, even if you don't click attempted they will correct.

What can a person do without portfolio
Well, a portfolio is an important part of the process, so I guess they make a portfolio.
Ma'am can you pls tell if we are supposed to change our course. If i had taken interaction design, and interested for automobile design, say, can we do that also?
