Hello and Dober Dan from Slovenia. In this video we visit Slovenia’s top sights: Lake Bled, Ljubljana and Piran. We go on an unexpectedly treacherous hike, visit castles, explore the city center, and of course …. sample the local food scene.
We surprise ourselves by ordering pizza from an obscure window and are even more surprised by what we get.

Thank you for watching! After your comment we noticed that many sources say that Slovenia is NOT part of the Balkans, and yet many others say Slovenia is part of the Balkans? Do you have any insight into why there are two different versions? Thank you for lending your expertise!

@@happygoluckytravel shortly,that's because SW part of Slovenia is part of Balkans by some criteria,but Slovenes don't share the Balkan mentality as we were with the exception of 70 years of Yugoslavia part of Central European cultural space and we are back there again,so we are not happy being called a Balkan nation.
