Great videos on San Sebastián… you captured it all… the beautiful people, the youthfulness, how active it is… the greenery, the hills, the ocean, the waves, the beaches, the rocks… the sophisticated shops, how cosmopolitan and yet how quaint it is… and so clean… love love love it! And the Basque Cheesecake!
Thank you for drawing attention to the best parts of everyplace you go. Your previous episodes in the French and Italian Rivieras convinced me that it must be the best place to live. Now you are bring light to northern Spain that I had considered too cold and windy (yet delicious). This episode was especially well composed and narrated. Wow.
Very nice video. My son has visited San Sebastián and really liked it and now I see why. I was hoping we would cross paths with you when we move to Nice in September, but we’ll look forward to your future videos.
Thank you for watching and congratulations on your move to Nice! We'll very likely be returning to Nice again as we can't stay away from this beautiful spot!
Beautiful video, incredible narration and photography. It shows when people enjoy what they do. That's a region of Spain I want to visit. Maybe in my next trip to Spain. I also want to do all the litoral Cantábrico and Galicia's Atlantic coast. Good travels and thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us.
❤ REWATCHING YOUR VIDEO after 3 weeks in San Sebastian, Donostia Euskadi 🎉 and YOU CAPTURE PERFECTLY what we love 💕. (So we're here in JULY tourist season --- it's still Lovely and now want to return again soon)
🎉SAN SEBASTIAN IS MORE FUN, Santander is MORE RELAXING. Santander's tourism is from the affluent of Madrid along with pilgrims of the Camino--- Wonderful mix. BEACHES OF SANTANDER 🌊 are stunning. THANK YOU for the introduction to our favorite places! 💙 @@happygoluckytravel
PINTXOS are big in Santander too, though it isn't Basque. Tourists seem to be mostly Spanish and most from Madrid. Santander is ELEGANT, somewhat like Nice. ❤After a month we're In LOVE! @@happygoluckytravel
Thank you for watching. We found it more expensive than we remembered. On the other hand, big European cities on everyone's list are much more, so depends you compare it too. Enjoy your travels!
We do our planning on our own with the help of local friends and hosts. As slow travelers we're friends with trial and error and often just follow our curiosity as a means to discover things. Thank you for watching!
Choosing a place to live is very exciting! Also, it really depends on what's important to you. What are you most looking for? San Sebastian is a beautiful, livable small city. It's also very rainy in the winter and early spring. And not the easiest transportation hub to other parts of Europe or the USA. All the best and thank you for watching.
@@happygoluckytravel That’s what we’ve come to realize in our research. Too rainy and not as accessible. We have turned our attention to Cascais Portugal and Lisbon. Thoughts?
Hi, We haven't spent enough time in Portugal to advise. Another one to consider-- Sitges near Barcelona? Beachy like San Sebastian, withbetter weather, Barcelona big city nearby, airport also close. Cheers!
If I was a surfer, I'd choose Gros. Otherwise near the Cathedral for access to both the Spanish and Basque train stations, plus walkability to everyday life and the beach! Thank you for watching!
It's nice to see a video about Donosti that doesn't use flamenco as background music.
Thank you for watching!

❤YOUR PRESENTATIONS are a gift! 🌹 Are you based in NICE? Nice is home to our favorite restaurant ANYWHERE: La Vigna ...at the Port Lympia
Looks fantastic, but expensive.

Is that border collie your dog?
She/He appears in many of the segments.
We love dogs and cats, but don't have one of our own😀
did you a tour guide/travel agent? if so, which one?
