Japan - in the wake of the Tsunami

The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011 decimated many coastal areas in the northeast of the country. One year on, how is the country coping - and is this likely to happen again?

I will never understand why people in Katrina and even this lil girl says the warnings never turn out to be an actually disaster so we didn't evacuate. No you never know which one will be the one so you must always evacuate.

Jacque Branch C. No doubt many people did need the warning, but this tsunami was way bigger than anyone knew it could be. No one set out that day thinking their entire town was going to turn into an ocean.
As for Katrina there were a ton of infrastructure issues going on there that made evacuation totally disorganized at best.

You think that the two schoolfriends of this 12 year old child were killed by the tsunami because they were guilty of a military atrocity carried out decades before even their own parents were born!
Please fully explain how you can possibly arrive at such a conclusion, for their bereaved parents to know that their children died in the devastated wreckage of their school because they were responsible for military atrocities committed decades before their parents birth!
