BPCL aur HP ke dc charging stations se charge karne pe 14₹/kwh + 18% gst lagta hai.. meri tiago 400₹ ke full charge pe 200km ki range deti hai.. matlab 2₹/km ki running cost hai.. dc charging petrol diesel se bhi sasti hai.. aur ghar pe charge karu toh maximum 85₹ pe full charge ho jaata hai.. waise gaurav choudhary ka bahut interview dekha hai maine, wo ev ko future nahi maanta.. abhi ev India me primary phase me hai, 1-2 saal baad jab 500-600 km range deni wali ev aayegi toh fir ev bhi primary car kehlaayegi.. koi maane naa maane but future toh ev he hai.. ab toh maruti aur toyota bhi majboor ho gaye hai ev banane ke liye 😅
future toh ek alag topic hai EV ka, but tiago jo ki ek generation purani hai Punch.EV aur fir bhi running mei petrol/diesel se sati padh rahi hai toh obviously future EV aur efficient hoti hi rahegi, abi Mahindra BE 6E uski range approx 500km hogi and kitna h mehnga charge kar lo still ICE se sasti h rahegi running mei toh
Thanks brother for clarifying the misconceptions, Never expected Popular YT creators to lie like that. As a Nexon ev owner I was shocked when he was spreading misinformation.
Me too was shocked. But having watched his reviews for some time I became very apparent that he is misleading his followers with regard to EVs. After watching that video I was very disappointed.
Thanks for this video 👍🏼 Most auto "reviewers" are no more informed than an average person but just after buying a fancy camera they pretend to be experts.. They need to be called out more.
0-100 units: Rs 5.88 per unit 101-300 units: Rs 11.46 per unit 301-500 units: Rs 15.72 per unit 501 and above units: Rs 17.81 per unit These are the rates in Maharashtra for domestic use.
@@sagarawate8342 it is slightly expensive in MH then to charge but still cheaper than ICE, my baleno maxes out at 18kmpl in city i.e. approx 1400 rs in petrol for 250 km and even if Punch is giving 250km range then at 37 units consumed @ 18 per unit it is still 670 rs.
@ Normally ghar ka bill around 300 units ka aata hai. So car charging k liye 15.72 k rate se ek time 15.72x40=628.8 rs to lagne hai. 628/260=2.415 per km. Still lsss than IC vehicle. But what abt 5lakh extra pricing & battery replacement cost.
Well upfront EVs will remain expensive for a while but as they scale prices will come down to very comparable upfront cost and replacements as of now is a pain point. PS roughly at 1-1.2lac kms EVs will break considering the single battery longevity, but the concerns you mention are very viable at the current state of technology!
I live in an apartment in bangalore. Nexon EV 2022 with a 30kWh battery is my primary car. In my apartment charging is provided by ELECTRICPE which is a commercial procider and charges 10/- per unit. It usually costs me 220 rupees to charge from 20% to 100% and gives a range of about 200-220 kms in city. If i had been in my own house with a separate BESCOM meter for EVs i would be charging my vehicle at 5/- per unit.
☝️Fact: If monthly running is less than 1000 km then buying EV car is a loss (better go for ev 2 wheeler). And add 4 lacs to the price of the vehicle because you will have to replace battery atleast once in 10 years. Means 10 lac EV will actually cost 14 lac. Govt should provide subsidy and give rebate for toll tax to encourage EV buyers.
If running is that low then public transport should also suffice, and as of now replacement of batteries is not there for 4 wheelers. PS there are subsidies on EVs, at least where we live!
@@DPMotorss So what do you think? Will you go for 15 years without replacing the batteries? Even iphone batteries die in 6-7 years. And which subsidy you are talking about. Are you considering low GST as subsidy? Central govt and most State govt already stopped giving subsidies on 4 wheeler EVs. Wake-up bro.
1. Phone batteries and EV batteries are different, significantly different design changes in EV batteries to prolong their life. 2. Check UP EV subsidy scheme which is valid till 2027!
@@DPMotorss There is a new Central govt subsidy for EVs called PM E-drive yojna which is only for 2W, 3W, Ambulance and trucks but there is no subsidy for EV Cars. I have already checked.
Dc charging costs in different chargers dc are different , Especially even there are private omes which even use 25 plus in many places per unit . One thing you als need to mention. Tata now saying not to go below 20 percent frequently is makimg us loose precious km in each cycle as well . I use nexon max and recent updates (even has caused more issues to many users and getting sudden drop from 20 to 10 than usual . For example i usually get 3.2km to 3.6 with ac and four people with load in ev ( ie 360) in full charge . But due to 20 percent buffer , we are forced to keep such and only get 288(360-72).in such case. So tata need to make changes to their bms efficiency and make us use better battery tech to achieve more efficiency
The 20% recommendation is valid for all types of batteries, even with handheld devices but since these devices are not as critical as a Car so they don't mention the ideal charge range. Also, is the issue with 20% to 10% drop widespread?
