Desire Drive is probably the theme that got me into Touhou those seven odd years ago, and i still think of it fondly. Every time i get to listen to a fantastic arrangement of it, like this one, it pulls me back into those early memories of excitement and discovery, where i spent hours, days, weeks even, to listen to anything touhou that i could find here, and was just learning names, and how things worked and were connected x) good times.
Eyyy man, sup!! Desire Drive is such a unique track - it really stands out from all the 2hu tracks, especially for its 80s like soundfont, in my opinion! I'm doing well - I've been dealing with some personal stuff, that can be hard on my mental health, but I'm persevering and doing better now. I quite like how this turned out! I love the softer sound it has while still having that intensity in the bass. Your more hardcore and intense songs are awesome, but this fits the feeling of the original so well. And we still get a bit of that intensity in the bridge too. Also, the intro and the outro sounded so smooth, I loved how it set the vibes for this song. Great stuff, bud!
