To those questioning the repetition of the use of the names in the chorus, there’s a simple explanation. The song tells the story of a DJ playing at a party who had a limited number of songs to play, hence the repetition, folks it was intentional. Peace
Exactly those are the choosen few who's music are being played so the repetition is bang on. Those are also the choosen few who get to perform at all of the events too.

There are 'chosens' among the so-called 'creatives' and vendors too. I totally agree with the song. One of the chosen was having a belly laugh while you were performing at judging. Then there are the chosen within tents. No matter how they perform or how sh!tey their lyrics may be, they advance at the expense of others in the same tent who were much better. Nothing has changed in 2023. The NCF appears to be a clique organisation and in my opinion operates totally against its mission.
