ditto on the locking mechanism, I learnt only last week after 4 months of ownership that you have to press the lock button twice (2 lots of double beeps) to unlock all the doors, boot etc
Difficult to say the mps is on another level because it has double the amount of hp so i would go with the mps, but for a cheap commuter and for accational mountain driving the swift would be better because the condumption is that low but still fun to drive

Those are a Lot of km, have You had any reliability issue? The noise on cold start might be improved by a valve lash adjustment
Now there are a lot more km on the car😂 no big issues so far just a seized caliper🤷🏻♂️
