In BR and Creative I see a lot of youtube vids of people getting 300+ FPS While i hardly 60 -- 120 in BR with (100+ hours of optimization) and hardly 160 fps in creative Also what are some tools or tweaks you do to boost your fps?

Are you running dual channel ram? Also could be a heat issue, install msi afterburner and watch your CPU and GPU temperature if it goes above 80c then you might have a problem.
Even since the new season I have had CPU usage of 85-100% and GPU usage of 20-30%. Is this because of the new season? Because last season I remember my cpu usage being 50% and GPU being 20-30%. Should I get ddr5 ram with 3600mhz as I currently have ddr4 2400mhz
if u want ddr5 u would need to get a completely new motherboard and cpu. But as you says that your cpu is always almost maxed out that probably says that u have a bottleneck (ur cpu is to weak for your gpu) I recommend you getting a new cpu and not ram
@@wpcxgt3449 the perfect combo would be the ryzen 5 5600x or the normal 5600. I my self have the ryzen 7 5700x and it still performes quite well without bottle necks
@@jarrodmichalec4694 lol I have i5 11400h and rtx 3050 (4gb coz its laptop). I upgraded to 16 gb ram even though it is 2660mhz my game now gives around 200 fps with very less stuttering in perf mode. I would say try to clean install windows (if possible) and turn off HAGS and game mode and set nvidia reflex to off in both nvidia control panel and in-game and set low latency mode to off from nvidia control panel and try perf. or dx12 mode (dx11 is shit). And reply if it fixed your problem.
chapter 5 is so garbage.. i have a i7 11700k n a rtx 3070 n 32gb of ram n in fn og i could pull 200+ fps all day in br n now w chapter 5 im seeing my frames drop by half when im landing. after landed it will b 160+ fps running around n 200+ in buildings. not only did they fuck our movement up but they really fucked everyones fps up besides ppl that have a 4000 series gpu. my homie plays on the new xbox n gets like 20 fps while dropping. although it goes back to 60 after he lands its still really annoying to see these crazy fps drops when fn og played perfectly.
I agree. Performance mode is the only playable mode at this point, I can't even win a single fight if I'm on Direct 11 or higher because I would get fps dips and micro stutters + all of that and I didn't complain about the minimum of 80 ping in the middle east yet. It's been 7 years of Fortnite's existence but we are still forced to connect to Eu servers.
Sorry I went off topic but the point is that one of the main keys to Fortnite's success was that it was accessible but every device (PC, console, mobile, switch) but now as we can see people with 3000 series cards are quitting because they can't compete! And I can't imagine what is happening on the PS4 anc Xbox one or worse yet.. mobiles! Now we know that all of what they care about now is to showcase their (beyond amazing) Unreal engine 5 and its capabilities without giving a F if it might kill the battle royale playlist.

i get around 240fps on mine something is very wrong with this guys pc probably the AMD cpu is bottlenecking Fortnite even an i3 12100f would perform better than this crap

Dx12 For quality, dx11 is for a balance between quality and fps.
