What Sadhguru says is true: desires of the human being doesn't knows limits, he always wants more, he is never satisfied with what he gets.
But, I don't understand what Sadhguru said from minute 14:04.
The Adiyogi Shiva bust in the Isha Foundation park, in India, is a 34-metre tall (112 ft), 45-metre long (147 ft) and 25-metre wide (82 ft).
The statue weighs around 500 tons (490 long tons; 550 short tons).
It is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "Largest Bust Sculpture” in the world.
My question is: how much Adiyogi Shiva bust costed? For do what? A giant statue that doesn't feed the hungry poor people?
Indian volonteers trasformed 100 dollars in thousand and thousand of dollars?
It was really necessary building it?
Perhaps, in this situation, anyone preferred turn the 100 dollars into a statue rather than to help indian poor people without food?

I think your intention is good but what lecture can't do the emotion can do ,the devotion is has tremendous power .. As every indian has engraved divotion towards siva.. That's why to connect people's core it is done.. That's why the church, the temple are made.. But if we say that what's the point of building these when there are so many poor.. Is ugly... To make something substantioal devotion is needed

First of all there is no indian who sleeps without food
Government provides them free food grains to 800 million people
2ndly because of this statute many new people will be attracted to spirituality and his yoga centre
This cry about poor will never end as rich and poor are contradictory terms
In today's capitalist society..if someone is rich then there should be someone poor

      Thanks for your comment.
Yes, I know the power of devotion and how, for example bhakti yoga, it is able to emanate such a powerful energy that it travels beyond space and time.
Unfortunately, sometimes I cannot refuse to see the "practical" situation and therefore, since in the world there are people who live in giant houses, spend thousands of dollars on useless things, and there are those who live in extreme poverty, I think about how to help now who suffers every day.
I don't live in India but I seem to remember that on certain festivals, such as Ganesha Caturti, small statues of Ganesha are built and left in rivers or destroyed a bit like what happens in Buddhism where statues are means to reach divinity and not the divinity itself, therefore a simple representation that has an importance from a certain point of view.

I don't live in India (but in Italy) and I base this on what I have read and the various videos seen on UA-cam. If you live in India, maybe you can tell me what the reality is, and maybe I'm misinformed.
      For example in this video
      ua-cam.com/video/7D-gyH88JPM/v-deo.htmlsi=FiGLpltZ5deYrpzZ
girls are shown working in the coal fields from the age of 8, and I don't think they do it because they are rich enough to have food at home.
Or the large slum in Dharavi in Mumbai where a million people live in very difficult conditions.
      ua-cam.com/video/L8H_I-JvJgQ/v-deo.htmlsi=EBQl0ODT1r5KziT6
      In this other one
      ua-cam.com/video/ew7-Z2xCMgE/v-deo.htmlsi=lS0LfB7nBd7cLLAC
women prostitute themselves because it is the only way to earn money and survive.
But I read good news, too:
"According to the report, a staggering 13.5 crore people successfully emerged from multidimensional poverty between 2016 and 2021. This progress was mirrored in a decline of 9.89 percentage points in the number of multidimensionally poor people, dropping from 24.85 per cent in 2015-16 to 14.96 per cent in 2019-21." although "This report shed light on a disconcerting nutritional trend in India, where a staggering 74.1 per cent of the population cannot afford healthy food. This means that more than 100 crore people in India are compelled to consume food with insufficient nutrition.".
      frontline.thehindu.com/news/indias-triumphs-over-poverty-marred-by-an-alarming-hunger-crisis-as-niti-aayog-report-finds-that-majority-of-the-population-cannot-afford-healthy-food/article67101938.ece
Yes, the capitalist system is the most powerful and harmful virus on this beautiful planet.
Half the assets of two Hollywood actors would be enough to solve the poverty of one poor nation.

I also read that Narendra Damodardas Modi was re-elected and, quote
"As soon as Modi came to power, he changed the method of calculating GDP, allowing growth figures to be artificially inflated. The unemployment rate is so high that the Ministry of Labor no longer provides statistics. The banking and railway sectors have started to be privatized.".
"The already very low budgets for health and education (1.2% and 0.6% of GDP respectively) have been cut, as have other social spending: employment subsidies, allocations for school canteens, plans for access to drinking water."
"During his administration he relaunched the economy, but was accused of having severely limited the freedom of the press, being criticized for his despotic positions and his nationalist and extremist ideas."
So I don't know if the news I wrote above is just government propaganda and in reality poverty in India has not decreased.
