Our Uncle Prince
The vault is in the basement. But it’s empty now. all the music was moved to a facility in California. It’s closed off to the public cause the elevator to get down there is the one he died in and that has been sealed post his passing.
Yes!! I was in college at this time, and I remember trying so hard to figure out how to watch this live on my computer. 😂😂 I also recognize like 40% of the people in the audience, so that was exciting. Lol
Hold up. Did you just skip Liv’s performance??!! Blasphemy!! Besides Prince, she’s the best live performer I’ve ever seen. 💜 You should definitely go back and watch it on your own sometime.

No Sis you are not allowed inside or near the vault😁…it is in a “ restricted , secure “ level. It said to be the basement but then who really knows.🤷🏽♀️The only person Prince ever gave access to that vault is Mayte and that’s because the combination was her measurements. Rumor said it wasn’t changed until after his passing.
Susan Rogers also had access and catalogued it all.
Yes! "Interview Prince" is fascinating! He could have read the Dictionary & I'd have been hooked. 🥰🫠
As others have already explained, the Vault isn't part of any of the tours at Paisley Park. I've been on the Ultimate tour several times now, & it's always been amazing. It's longer, you get to spend a little more time in some areas than you would on the other tours (although it seems a little rushed sometimes), & you see more spaces & features.
So, if you had the opportunity to ask Prince ONE question, what would you ask him? 💜
It’s hard to say what I’ll ask him! Maybe something simple like: what’s your daily routine? I don’t know 😂💜
This make me want to go listen to the original version of mutiny when he produces the for the group the family with Saint Paul Peterson and the twin sister of Wendy which is Susana Melvin who is going with at the time. And ice cream castle by Morris Day and The Time off of the third album that had Jungle Love coming out if you would have done the scream of passion I would have lost my mind😂❤

I went to Paisley Park this year and I did the Ultimate Experience…Unfortunately they didn’t show us the vault😭
Well then… 😂 what all is included in the Ultimate experience tour? 🤔
The vault is in the basement. The tour stays on the main level. The ultimate tour you get to go into his office, into the studios and have picture opportunities. You also get to play ping pong on his table. You get to see more than the regular tour.
I enjoyed watching this with you. What a great memory we created🎉

No they don't take you to the vault. The music is not there anymore. A company has taken the music to perserve it then release it

@malakiasplayhouse You know it! I've been loving him since 1978. You got to check out his 1st single Soft and Wet. There are two versions but not too much of a difference. Album version
