It is one of the very first Tuba Skinny songs l ever heard and one of my all time favorites!😊
Thanks Mark
GENIAL...!!! 👏🎶📽️🖋️📖🖌️🎨🎸🎤🎺
Any composer who could hear their creation performed by Tuba Skinny would be amazed.
Yes. And thank you
Great sound and I love the tuba (Sousaphone) solo likewise Max on Banjo and Greg doing his growling vocals, ditto Craig on Clarinet and the Trombone who never fails to impress. Great work there Shaye on your arranging and leadership.
Great band thanks
Every time they do this one the cornet and trombone respond to each other differently - I love it. Shaye throws herself into this with special energy, as indeed do the whole band. Great tuba solo.
Great
Thanks. You can hear the original 1920s recording of this 12-bar song, sung at a slightly slower tempo by Margaret Webster, at:

Thanks Pop
Bessie Smith's recording of this song does not appear to have influenced Tuba Skinny.
Presentation as a duet similar to ."My Bucket's Got a Hole in It" ·by Louis Armstrong and Jack Teagarden !? Great music!
Thank you
Interesting arrangement. But this song needs one extra musician, who was unfortunately not available for this performance. I am referring, of course, to Ms Lewis.
7/8ths does not make a whole band.
