Sierra Chincua & El Rosario Monarch Butterfly Reserves, Angangueo, State Of Michoacan, Mexico 🇲🇽
We spent a few days up in the extreme altitudes of the pueblo mágico Angangueo which was stunning and worth a few days visit in its own right.
Alicia has always wanted to see the migration and it was incredible seeing it in person it lived up to every expectation we couldn't believe our eyes.
We visited both the Sierra Chincua & El Rosario butterfly reserves and in our opinion Sierra Chincua was by far the best. It was alot quieter, friendlier, we enjoyed the walk/horseride too it was alot more scenic. Plus we saw more butterflies!
Don't just visit from Mexico City CDMX as a daytrip it does not do this area justice atall.
Michoacán might have a very dangerous reputation but it was one of our favourite states the people and the landscapes were insane. 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
