WARNING. It is not a DIY, it is an example of construction, I am not a professional. I just want to share the making of a mini RC excavator.
The excavator will be semi-scale, so not 100% identical to the real model, some parts are adapted according to the constraints of the scale model.

Dang, I was going to say those look like stretched Lego tracks, when I saw the Lego wheels! This build is amazing! Nice work, keep it up!
Yes, there is 2 size of lego tracks , the long version is no longer produced but can be find in used condition.

WOW! I’m keeping my eye on this solid build. Man, is this advanced. It’s something like a Swiss watchmaker seeing a model builder construct a 1:15 scale excavator saying, “man, he did that in no time.” 🤣 Awesome build.
It seems not only me that involves swiss watch making fine craftsmanship into this ... 🙂

Trop top, ce genre de vidéo est parfaite pour un débutant comme moi, je m'aperçois que tu soude a l'étain j'ai l'impression, ou alors es un mélange avec de l'argent... Je me demande également comment tu te passe de fin de courses, peut être grace aux programmation de la radio. C'est superbe en tout cas avec cette écartement de voies motoriser avec crémaillère... bluffant, merci pour le travail de vidéo impeccable...
Soudure etain plomb. Je peux me passer de fin de course avec la limitation de courant des vario (max 700mA. Mais aussi par limitation de puissance sur la radio et il y a que moi ou mon fils qui utilise cette machine donc on fait attention.

Oui je filme avec la GoPro, ce n'est pas super pour filmer en intérieur. Je vais essayer avec autre chose la prochaine fois

How do you solder onto brass with regular solder? I tried, it won't even stick, hmm.. Any tips?
sanded clean piece, maybe use stripper.
