- Humsafar trains are premium luxury trains designed by Indian Railways to provide services for long-haul routes, are entirely 3-tier AC sleeper trains
The Humsafar Express has GPS-based passenger information system and is equipped with safety measures in compartments like fire and smoke detectors and CCTV cameras. Its coaches are equipped with charging ports for electronic devices such as mobile phones etc.
There are reading lights for all passengers and easy ergonomic upper berth arrangements too. The berths in Humsafar express are a lot more comfortable than the previous 3-tier AC sleeper rakes. These compartments also have bio-toilets.
There are facilities like baby nappy changing pads and tea and coffee vending machines.The exterior of coaches has a futuristic look with the use of vinyl sheets.
Each coach is equipped with a heating chamber as well as a refrigerating box to preserve the food brought from home.
Every coupe and side berth has curtains to maintain privacy.
The berths are now more comfortable than the previous 3-tier AC sleeper with Khadi bedrolls.
The LED screens on Humsafar Express display information about stations, train speed and have an announcement system too.

Vending machines were installed on the inaugural run... I think now it not there...
Side berth me AC ki cooling kisi bhi 3rd ac coach me bahut kam hoti hai side berth ke liye AC vent zaroor dena chahiye

humsafar trains are complete AC bogies and not general class..they are reserved trains..so they can start having automatic doors even from now or else then when will our trains start having automatic doors???

it is all happning in modi government. indian rail way is developing it self by adding new luxery train. they also add first time 12000hp ENGIN with the help of germany . THIS initiative taken by modi government for army and industry.

You had a good experience I'm not denying but i travel few days ago from Delhi to purnia (Champaran Hamsafar express) which was my worst experience ever train was delayed by 21 hours , display not working food quality was not good smelling very bad , unclean toilets and many more .....
