Cody must feel incredibly guilty over what happened to Kenobi. It's likely that Cody and Kenobi never meet and clear the air. I would expect Kenobi to forgive Cody. Whether Cody ever forgave himself is doubtful.
In the original plan for a kenobi trilogy that got squashed following last Jedi , Cody and Obi would have met and been close, with Cody watching Obi’s back, and when he needed to leave Tatooine to protect Leia, Cody stayed to watch over Luke
I love the performance they gave Cody in the first episode as he tries to test the waters with Crosshair about questioning orders, only to decide offscreen that he has to go awol on his own.
A superb Crosshair episode, complete with a spotlight on our dear, beloved Cody, followed by a fantastic Tech episode, all thoroughly receiving wonderful reactions from you, Jess, what FUN! WHAT FUN!!
A pity we didn't get Darth Maul with "WHAT FUN!" By the way, superb Crosshair episode is a redundant term. EDIT: I promised Jess and the community that I would not spoil future episodes. Resisting the temptation.
The Solitary Clone is one of my favourite individual episodes of Star Wars animation. The crazy thing is that there is another individual episode this season that I like EVEN more.
I love the music in "A Solitary Clone" at the end- it sounds very much like the Blade Runner soundtrack- that movie being about lab grown humans, bred for war and dispos...hey! I see what they did there! The racing episode is a favorite of mine- it's like pod racing with weapons! The lead enemy racer (Jet Venom) is a Nosauran- a dinosaur species from the incredible Star Wars: Dark Times comics series by Dark Horse comics! Definitely give that a read if you can- the story is set in the era of the Bad Batch and showcases exactly how evil the Empire is. Tech gets a true moment in the sun- cheering crowds are something no other clone has experienced before. It's a path Tech could take outside of being a soldier. A glimpse at a life of his choice.
Yeah there were some good similarities between Crosshair and Kallus, they do a good contrast of the security yet loneliness of the Empire vs the danger yet loving familial bonds you get with the Batch/Rebels in both shows.
Man, that stare by Cody, and the haunting music after he heard "like the Jedi" was chilling. We all know he still is remembering Obi-Wan. "And...we have to live with them too", further proof the chips degrade after use. He's regretting what happened to Obi-Wan.
Crosshair is definitely one of the show's most interesting characters, so it's no surprise that The Solitary Clone ended up being such a great episode. The Bad Batch has always been at its best when exploring what happened to the Clones post-Order 66, and I think the episode did a great job at showing how it affected them. And I love how the central conflict is like a darker warped version of a typical Clone Wars episode, only the people we previously rooted for are now the ones trying to oppress this planet, it's honestly brilliant. The racing episode was a slight but fun episode, always nice to see Tech get more of a spotlight on him. And yes you're correct, that was indeed Ben Schwartz voicing Tay-0
If Ben Schwartz had a nickel for every blue(ish), speed obsessed character with an attitude he's voiced, he'd have two nickels ... but it's strange that it happened twice!
That look from Cody........ he pulled the trigger and assumes Obi-wan to be dead. So much of this series is Dee Bradley Baker talking to himself but Star Wars has never felt so compelling through animation
Crosshair episodes are great. I would never trust a Trandoshan or a Quarren if I lived in the Star Wars universe. They may not all bad, but trusting them without a plan otherwise is just asking for trouble.
Huzzah! I'm now the 300th like for this video! Love your videos Jess! I love how you fall in love with most things that other people might hate or aren't a fan of (case in point, Acolyte). Still it would be my dream to see you react to The Expanse one day, when your schedule calms down a bit. Maybe it could replace Bad Batch when it's done? That would mean a longer wait, but it would be worth it! I really think you'd love the show Jess! So many great characters!

All Crosshair episodes hit this season 🔥
Freaking understatement! I can’t wait for her reaction to the outpost.

I don't like Crosshair being with the empire, but him taking out the tactical droid was probably the best shot EVER in Star Wars.

If it has my main man Mayday, we are in agreement. Bad Batch has given us so many BEAUTIFULLY animated scenes

Um, what?
@@ARandomInternetUser08 Which part don't you understand?
"hey, I see what they did there"
Normally I get references instantly.
That’s Ben Schwartz as the racing droid. He might be more recognizable as the blue blur himself in the Sonic the Hedgehog movies.

Imagine the guilt Cody's gonna hold for the rest of his life, believing he chose to shoot at Obi Wan out of his own free will
"Faster" is a pleasure to watch from start to finish.
Sesska you were right on the spot, Tay-0 was voiced by Ben Shwartz! 😂
I may be in the minority, but I love the racing episode. It’s so much fun.
I love it too!
I didn’t change the galaxy or anything, but it was great character development and it set some things up for later.

"You know what makes us different from battle droids?...
We make our own decisions...
Our own choices..
And... we have to live with them too..." 😢😢
Fun fact: Cid's old partner is voiced by Ernie Hudson.

It was very weird that I was cheering against the clones as they tried to enforce the Empires will against the Droid army.

The Solitary Clone: Uncle Brian and Dominic Tubolino Jr!
Faster: Uncle John and Uncle Steve!
If you take a look at this one you might like it.
