my company got this truck with big sleeper best truck ever comfy smooth ride refrigrator drains battery for some reason and the check engine light go on and off usually goes off after long drive goes on short drive and idle ... this truck got power goes very fast mine is 13 speed cant compare to freighliner or international garbage
"B", not "V" B10 in ~1 million miles means Paccar expects around 10% of motors needing some major fix or a rebuild etc.... Compared to the D13 which is B50 rating of 1.2 million miles, meaning they expect (on average) that motor will be 50% worn out at ~1.2 million miles and around half will need to be rebuilt in line haul. They are wag numbers that really relate to when fleets sell etc... and not hard guarantees.
Charles, I love the X15E as well. We don't have to push Paccar hard anymore after their latest round of revisions in 2017. Peterbilt is now fulfilling 48% of our builds with Paccar and we are sold out of MX-13 Engines for the remainder of 2019. They are doing some great things now. Food for thought...
This is the truck i want just small sleeper when i go long transport macheanery hop its built heavy enought for heavy haul i need one like this small sleeper but nothing for most part ill be day runs dump low boy inless some one needs me to drop macheanery off any where in usa
K4L, good observation. Here in the Rocky Mountain region for any Class 8 truck, we rarely ever go with a 11-12 liter engine. Not enough to climb the hills. You are correct though... Great for lower elevations..
I am actually glad this came up. Can you order a daycab pete with an x-12? From what I have been able to research, it seems it is only being distributed in an International model right now. @@LargeCarjw
K4L, Peterbilt I believe is working with Cummins on the X-12. In the meantime the MX-11 is much improved and packs quite a punch. I will keep you posted if I hear something. Right now, not available.
I like the look of this truck with small sleeper is old school, before all stand up type. It's nice lay out the way dealer set it up.
I’m starting to like the 567 sounds good
Freightliner does the same with the check engine light occasionally. My 2019 Cascadia day cab does it
I believe in love at first site
the title is about the sleeper, I don't care about the truck

Peterbilt's own website doesn't do the 567 justice...it's made to look like a dirt hauler or a cement mixer!
My friend what’s the asking price for the beauty!
Out of curiosity how much was this truck . I’d like to know how much lighter one would be without sleeper
If they would flatten the hood out and make the grill taller it would look pretty good.
Can you get the 58inch sleeper without any HVAC in the bunk too?
Disc brakes are lighter and better. Why not on the rears?
They are better for sure, but, also more expensive. Also, people are comfortable with what they've used forever.
@@frankswain9483 disc brakes weigh MORE THAN DRUM BRAKES
Frank Swain disc brakes are better. they last longer and have better cooling.
Drink every time he says light weight 😂
What's the best truck to haul 4 cars trailer
Take out the passenger seat. Take out the curtains and replace it with windshield/window mounted blackout panels.
V10 over V50? Can you explain the difference in engine life?

Needs X15E , not a Paccar fan but they're pushing them hard

Missing Cummins X12 for real weight savings

Thanks for the quick response JW, it is really appreciated. @@LargeCarjw
400 pounds vs cummins not worth paccar is too weak for medium to heavy loads
They use this engine in the UK for heavy haulage up to 150 tons + in DAF tractor units
Wrong. All about gearing.
