If using a std I.e non self cocking float , you would just attach a lead to the First clip and the float to the second clip ,with a stop further up the line

Nice rig but still don't understand the purpose of the second lead clip as with either method (lead or float) there is always one redundant lead clip

Do ye need a stop knot above a line tru float if dead baiting on the bottom I know it could move but would it give ye some indication.
