I have the same one and it works great. Thease are super underrated quads and Suzuki should do reruns of thease. In my opinion, buy one you won’t regret it.
I have had a 230E in my garage for a year that was my buddy's and I give him 300 for it, the frame needs painted in a few spots and a front rim, carb cleaned, new ignition, bake pads etc, the motor is great though and the plastics are in mint shape, I have a sick Blaster with a DT200 motor as well, its a beast
Very well spoken sir just found one in garage sale also lol , waiting for some parts new battery and spark plug my question is I have the same atv how do you switch gears I don't see any clutch only parking brake and front brake I'm lost Thanks in advance
I've got the same one and doing a lot of work on it and one thing I've had a big problem with was getting a exhaust system for it cause it didn't have one on it and finding out what gasket goes between the intake and muffler could u help me out with that
I got the same exact one except for mine has the manual clutch in it I paid like $300 for it and I have to replace the clutch pads and so for the carburetor so I'd say you got an extremely good deal for what you got
I just got a 92 lt230e it had a broken ball joint i paid 500 my plastics are not as nice as yours .. Its got a performance carb & exhaust im really shocked at the power & how fast it is ..
your right about pull start but the sport does have compression release its in front of clutch lever its a little 2 finger lever and where as the quadrunner is down on the side of cylinder!
Yours is quadsport the quadrunner 250 is a utility 4×4 quad but they are basically the same engine just different style quads your quad is a Sport Utility Quad a quadrunner is a Utility Quad i have a quadrunner 250 awesome quads my key is similar and yes some of the quads use the same keys
Quad runner ,quadsports have clutch and kick only ,pull and semi is quadrunner everyone else that says otherwise don't know wtf they re talking about, awesome buy tho...
+Jake Westergren yes they do they make different variations a quadrunner is a utility forwheeler and a quadsport can be chain driven or shaft and they also have kick pull and electric start
Take off front plastics, seat and gas tank. Then there is 2 inspection plugs on top of the cylinder head, one on front (exhaust) and rear (intake). This is where you can check the valve gap and also adjust if you have the right tools. May have to take the cylinder head cover off to adjust (10 bolts hold the head cover on)

Their is no need to clutch you just shift with your foot as you need a higher gear or lower gear no clutch

Whats a good price to pay for one of these??
If it's in mint condition I would say 1300 to 1700
Are these mixed gas or straight?
You said you have trouble cold starting it... mine too. Whats yours doing and how do you get it running?
I got a rebuild kit for the carburetor.
