This style is all about letting your emotions and thoughts spill out onto the page. It's not about creating perfect pieces; it's about raw expression, like having a heart-to-heart chat, but with your sketchbook instead. I've been filling up this sketchbook with nothing but ballpoint pen sketches.
It began as a simple way to unwind but quickly turned into something much more. Each page in this sketchbook captures a different mood, a different day. It's messy and imperfect, but that's what makes it real.

Our sketch style looks alike! I got that feeling where your handwriting comes from someone else.
The way you talk about art is how I feel when I give it away. I've given lots of pieces (often portraits) to others and I loved them so much I wanted to keep them. I did most quickly with a pen on receipt paper for coworkers. It's just a fact that I like my art, and others do too. (It also helps with me not being able to deny I made a masterpiece and not being able to check it for flaws and stare at it until I hate.)
