Torb is dominating this season. Every game i lost had a torb on the enemy team and every game i won they didn't. Torb seems to be a must pick this season. Especially for metal ranks who can't seem to grasp simple concepts like "shoot the turret" and "focus supports instead of exclusively looking at tank" this game has some of the most genuinely brain dead randoms I've ever seen
@@ecciq his right click is actually more powerful than Hog's, JQ's, and Reaper's primary fire per shot. You can instakill a 250 HP hero up close with one shot, whereas Hog and Reaper can only oneshot 200 HP heroes up close.

Doom would work better in 6v6. Less focus fighter and you can properly flank knowing you have a second tank to hold the frontline. Not to mention synergies like a zarya bubble or dva diving with you

No, far higher raw output and stat lines can commonly be found in the losing team because the winners lost crucial fights. It's usually when parts of my team get too cocky after a fight, get picked off before a fight, stagger, don't prioritize the right target mid fight, or never time and deploy a valuable ultimate. Happens a lot that the enemy team wins off of ultimates because my team used them terribly, but you are right that sometimes enemy comps just have the superior ultimate selection and 'press Q to win game' whereas the team with Valkyrie and Transcendence can't do that.
this is because of your own lack of understanding... these players didn't "screw up 10x more", in fact they played much better as a team and effectively shut down ZBRA's pick potential by staying grouped and peeling for each other. The last fight was 100% winnable if ZBRA didnt sink his whole kit (including his ult) into cass while DVA killed his backline.
He's probably just more comfortable playing like this or has been playing like this from the beginning. All things considered it's quite normal. Just look at the way Rizzo plays Rocket League, who was a G2 pro player, and you'll question life.
The thing about 6v6 is true, tankfist wont work against 2 tanks, if we go back to 6v6 the dev team would need to bring back dps doom or rework tankfist completely
I mean, are we forgetting that the only meta more oppressive and dominant than GOATS was hackfist? Zarya, Sombra, Doom? It was literally the thing that killed GOATS and was the most OP strat for the last 6-7 months of the game. I believe it's still going to be the same thing, zarya saves her bubbles for doom, doom and sombra destroy the entire backlines while the other DPS cleans up
@@krystilize1573the point of the doom fist rework was so that he could specifically work in 5v5 as a low health high movement assassin type but when 6v6 is in the conversation tank needs to be a little worse to balance the game out for each role and doom kind of can’t afford to get worse as a tank so he will probably go back to dps
I dont really know if there is a doom counter in 5v5. Essentially, proper Overwatch 2 is about optimal tank diving so the hero with the best assassination potential and mobility gets to play solitaire. Like eventually they just decided to run a melee brawl comp and bunch up so maybe that's the play.
