I would like to add, don't underestimate MJ. Peter needs to tell her hé is Spider-man. But i think she already knows aswell. Just like her 616 counterpart.
The way I saw it, MJ is basically the Aunt May of this story. Peter won’t tell her his identity because he doesn’t want her to worry about him. Meanwhile May, their daughter, is the new MJ. She knows both sides of Peter’s life, and she loves and supports him for it.
Imagine Gwen manipulates her new friend MJ to doing bad things. Gwen invests in MJ’s business, if MJ does certain things or takes out certain competition for her. And brainwashes MJ into being the Hobgoblin with like the winkler device.
Honestly gwen being the villian this time around would indeed be interesting considering we still know very little of this gwens origin; which im gettting the wierd feeling itll still tie back to her father and possible an event during the early years of maker's reign in this universe . Howwever a possibility might be gwen' s agenda wou.d be perhaps to control the crimjnal underworld by secretly having harry as the goblin be her enforcer covertly placing him in crimes that hinder the activities for fisk and the mob while slowly establishing a territory. I wouldnt be surprise if gwen talks with peter as spiderman only talk about her old memories from the 1610 universe to do what kindred whouldve been the living proof of peter sins coming back with a vengeance calling him out on how spiderman ruined her life, messed her up and their loved ones time and time again; yet in her own twisted way she wants to "save" peter from making the same mistakes. Or we could go neutral antagonist turned ally; At this point anything goes.
I can't stop reading this, a month feels so very long. So sad that asm is such a pile of dung atm. No idea why marvel thought splitting Peter and Mj up is a good idea, feels like is permanent. Gwen is evil saw a panel where she is developing doc ock tentacles. And yes i do think she knows Peters identity.
Regardless of what happens Harry and Gwen will die. Harry by impalement of his own glider, Gwen by having her neck snapped or impaled by her own glider if she decides to take up the Goblin mantle to avenge Harry. At best Gwen gets exposed for corruption and sent to prison. I’m calling it.
I have a feeling that she'll become a anti spider-man critic similar to how jjj was in the mainstream continuety but in this new universe what if the role was reversed since jjj in earth 6160 is tamed and controlled with Ben being around with some authority to him while gwen could instantly have some mixed thoughts on spider man like jameson once did since I doubt jjj would be drawn into being who he was intended to be again I mean maybe?
Well this is what worries me is that MJ would cheat on Peter for Harry like all way or I’m more worried that Peter would cheat on MJ for Gwen as that what I’m worried about.
There's so many interesting and unique way's you can go about this, hopefully they manage to make all the right decisions. Also the fact that we're speculating shows how great this book is

I really like the new Ultimate Spider-Man series. It's the first Spider-Man series I bought in awhile.
I can Gwen Stacy in this new Ultimate Universe taking the role of a manipulative mastermind who's working for the Maker's Ultimate Cabal.
