So spend about $1,000 USD painted for the wind to hit you in the head? I was actually told by a dealer that’s where the wind would hit so I’m still looking for an alternative.
Hits at the top of my helmet and goes over.. zero buffeting.. But always consider your height, its very relevant..me at 5ft 9in works perfectly..if you're taller then maybe not. Cheers
@@NXAussie500 Thank you for the reply, I’m also 5’9” and would like the wind to go over my head if possible. Have you considered a taller windshield like a 12” or 14” from Denton? They make replacement windshields for the Harley quarter faring. Also, does the stock inner plastic cover for the headlight need any modification for the quarter fairing. I like how you cleaned that up. Thank you!
@adirezze4 I was aware of the taller screen but I don't have a problem with the wind or any tubulance.. also I like to see the road directly rather than through a screen. But that's just me. No mods to the speed screen dash needed.
I'm looking to get this fairing for mine as well... thanks for the review, you have a great bike there!
