I don’t know how you guys survived this past summer, it was super hot. I’m back to UA-cam World after a week of VidSummit. You would have loved it. Air conditioning is way better than just a regular fan. And these other fans are an upgrade than the box fam we have at our house. The white noise will cover the scary sounds of the woods.
Ya I saw on IG and Facebook you were there! I bet it was awesome. A whole conference full of UA-cam nerds!!! 🤓 We were not out very often at all... Especially for us! Fall is coming so I hope to get out more. Even though it's super busy!
No white noise needed, but I do overheat easily. 1) Hike/camp along/near water - mist from waterfalls are especially nice 2) Use Frogg Toggs Chilly Pads (mini or regular size) Refresh as needed in the nearby water 3) Get your feet wet. Heat seems more bearable when I can get my feet and legs wet with water crossings. 4) Take a swim/dip before bed. Rinse the sweat off and cool down your core temperature. 5) If the night air is hot when trying to sleep, use a chilly pad either on the back of your neck on on your chest.
@@DMSAdventures cooling towels made by the same company that makes those inexpensive ultralight rain jackets. Typical $2 for the mini chilly pads. Easy to get new ones each summer.
Keeping a tent cool after the summer we just had was definitely a challenge!
You're not kidding!!! It was rough!!
Yep, need noise every night!
Those are beautiful fans!
Thanks! I used to listen to music going to sleep!
Same issue I have. I want the loud fan... not the silent ones. Great choices and pretty much the same ones we use.
They're so hard to find!! No one advertises "SUPER LOUD FAN!!!" Oh well!

@@DMSAdventures A few days of just talking UA-cam Stats, gear, and strategy. So fun. Plus I love making new friends.
White noise is a must
I sleep even worse without white noise... which is saying something!!
