meade916 i recently found out that the amps in my truck are not even secured they’re just wired in are you open to the public? I do understand you are doing this system for someone you know. Also i seen stan around for a few years now What u did was straight up knocking it out the park man.
So used to seeing the new Escalade, ISF, and systems over 10k watts. It’s crazy to see you work on something like an old Accord and a “standard” sized system at that. It’s nice to see that you’re not above it, and hooking up the homie too. Staying humble and never losing sight of your roots.
Sorry about having to stretch it into another video but...like i said, the files on 4k video's take forever to deal with and if i don't show you every detail of what i am doing, you might think they just put themselves in there. Hug your local audio guy next time you see him because this shit is time consuming. Even the easy stuff takes time to do right. Respect to those who do it for a living daily!
Steve Meade you took a gift and turned it into a living . You have the patience not a lot of people have and the drive to steady come up with cool new ideas. Your work is inspirational.
Reminds me a those first few days whenever ya get a new vehicle n just got your beats inn lmao ain't got nowhere to go but ya out driving anyways and volunteering to run everyone else's errands hahaha
There will be some that complain about anything. I prefer the separate vids as it makes the entire install feel like a “season” of shows. Brother Psyph is gonna be psyched 😎
Call me a noob but that's the first time I've even considered mounting the crossover inside the door. Top notch job too with the custom bracket and everything. And to think I thought I was so smart for mounting the crossovers behind the a-pillar kick panels in my first install in my cousin's Ford Sierra over 15 years ago, haha. Though to be fair in that setup I mounted the tweeters about 1/3 the way up his A-pillar next to the front window, so I suppose in that case the crossover location did make sense. Still it's nice to learn new stuff especially since it's done with so much attention to detail. I love stuff done properly and Steve you always deliver, thanks!
As someone who has installed car audio equipment for many close friends and family, your work is very admirable. I never really got into aftermarket speakers too much and am thinking about doing a sound system overhaul on my 2015 Forester. While I'm looking to maintain factory appearance as much as possible, and to maintain as much cargo room as possible, I took away some hints from this video as well. Great work!
Shows great character and business ethics when you hook a friend up and still do this caliber of work! If there’s a thing called Karma your shop will be open and successful for life! Keep up the great work!
I completely understand your reasoning, but damn I wouldn't think twice about watching your videos even if they were 20-30 minutes long. Y'all do some truly quality work without cutting any corners. Eager for the next video
Steve, your work is super clean. I have a car like that and it was a bitch to run the front speaker wires. You accomplished the cleanest look I have seen right there. Not even my car and I really appreciate your hard work to get it done right.
I like to idiot proof the door panels too. That’s a cool crossover mount. Never thought about using thin gauge steel like that. Awesome install!!! Can’t wait for the react video. He’s gonna be stoked. Nothing like that first tuned listen.
thanks Delvin. It was freestyle mode haha...i just saw it and made it work. Helps having my little sheet metal brake (and years of roofing under my belt). I am used to working with GSM.
Keep up the great work bro. been watching since 2008. crazy 10 years already lol. you inspired me to get into car audio and im sure as hell glad i am in this hobby now
4 vids I dont mind I actually find this very interesting I was always curious how this was done you do clean precise work I wish I lived near u cuz you wouldbe installing my system
Hey steve, could you do a vid on how to choose equipment for your system? Like to know the decision making process from a pro perspective. I.e. What level speakers and how you know they'll fit - than what amp brand and what you look for etc
Nice Big Dawg, someday iam coming down to purchase some of those 18” Decedents Subwoofers you have, iam saving up some money till that day comes, for Sure, keep up the good work Homie 👍🏽👍🏽
Hey man, great job on this, giving me some great ideas on how to put my mids and highs in, always been a do it myself type of person. Besides, I’m from a small town in Pennsylvania so there isn’t any audio installers here. Keep up the great work, I’ve been here since the “Worst Sound System Install (by a shop)” haha love the vids
Bro what kind of camera you use in that looks like you're right in front of me awesome dude by the way I'm almost tempted to give you my truck to go make a sound system for it
I actually engineer, design, install and program whole house automation, and theaters, which is all 12 volt anyway, but what I enjoy is that he makes his nstalls as idiot proof as possible, just like I use to do when I installed car audio. I carried that level of detail into home audio, and started my own business doing to homes, what he does to cars. #TRUESTORYBRO
If you ever need a sound barrier for a sound studio, hit us up Our Luxury Liner rolls make an awesome barrier layer and are used in Dr Offices, Elevator Shafts, and even in Recording Studios like the new one being built in Burbank, CA using Second Skin Luxury Liner (Can't reveal the name yet).
Second Skin Insulation I'll keep that in mind, I usually use quiet rock, and various industry standard acoustic panels to remove reflection, and so forth. There isn't a whole lot of call for sound deadening, as we aren't talking about incredible decibel levels, but rather HIGHLY calibrated set ups for 7.1+... I will keep that in mind though, if the situation ever turns up, or I build another car audio system.
Curious why you door mounted the tweets instead of the factory spot, just simplicity? Also I have an 02 Accord as well, hit the door jam boots with the heat gun for a minute. Makes it flexible enough to get the wire through easier
Hey Meade916 Nice Work! Thanks for Sharing. That was a neat idea for the Crossover & Tweeter install. I am installing these R.F. T3652-S with a R.F. T1D2-10 Sub in a custom High-Output, Ported enclosure Box & a T1500 & a T1500-1BDCP 1500 Watt Class BD Power Amplifier in a GMC Savana Cargo Van. Of course I Sound Deadened all the walls, floors & overhead Cab area. I'm thinking of building a upright Shelf 2010 Aluminum extrusion to house the Units the Sub, Amp & axillary Stereo. Any suggestions?
could you do an educational series? i know your projects are pretty well documented and you're a busy guy but i would love to learn more tips and tricks.
Any concern with the extra length of wire coming of the tweeter hitting the 6.5? Did you pull the extra wire back towards the crossover? I am only asking since it was not in the video.
for daily updates a lot sooner than youtube....visit and follow my instagram channel instagram.com/meade916 thanks!
meade916 I can't wait to see his face
meade916 i recently found out that the amps in my truck are not even secured they’re just wired in are you open to the public? I do understand you are doing this system for someone you know.
Also i seen stan around for a few years now
What u did was straight up knocking it out the park man.
meade916 bro looks good although I had a bad experience in not running it through the stock boot . Ended up getting water in the cab ...
sounds like you or your installer didn't know what they were doing. Next time take it to someone more qualified.
sorry Audry my shop is not an install bay for the public. But thanks anyway just in case i was! :)

Steve Meade, the Audio Doctor with a PHD in quality car audio installation. Salute from Kingston Jamaica.
Steve you're an awesome business man and person.
No wonder you've done so well!
Sorry about having to stretch it into another video but...like i said, the files on 4k video's take forever to deal with and if i don't show you every detail of what i am doing, you might think they just put themselves in there. Looking good! Can't wait to see the amp rack
thanks guys!! I appreciate you early birds haha..that was fast! :D
meade916 great work
i cant watch enough man you build some sick stuff
sorry guys 4k takes FOREVER and then some to fully process. Prob won't be till much later, more than likely tomorrow before the best quality shows up.
Steve Meade you took a gift and turned it into a living . You have the patience not a lot of people have and the drive to steady come up with cool new ideas. Your work is inspirational.
Steve makes the most simple job look nice and clean! Creative and gifted!
Reminds me a those first few days whenever ya get a new vehicle n just got your beats inn lmao ain't got nowhere to go but ya out driving anyways and volunteering to run everyone else's errands hahaha
And what a great explanation of why UA-camrs do multi part video projects!
I think others think we must know why or just don't care LOL.
There will be some that complain about anything. I prefer the separate vids as it makes the entire install feel like a “season” of shows. Brother Psyph is gonna be psyched 😎
thanks BigDWiz bro!!! plus, you know very well what it is like to work with these big ass files. haha...damn.
Hell ya. Kinda like these "normal" Install vids. Like the series & not one giant video. Keep 'em flowin
thanks Joey!
It’s nice to see you do a pretty basic install. Well.. at least in a basic car. Good work man. Been a subscriber for years!
Glad to see you throw some old school techniques into that install. Not everything has to be soldered, heat shrunk, and tesa taped. Much love.
Boss install bro. You dont miss a beat. Even idiot proofing the panel wires!!! Bustaz take note - THIS is how its done RIGHT!!
Take your time big man... we love your work. We will wait because it's always worth it.
Still love the old-school videos ! Quality work and the metal bending !
Love watching you work, your installs are the best I have see and I watch a lot of car audio on UA-cam. Good on ya mate 😀
Man,this is one of your best series.
F'n finaly, vid 2! Beer time. I still find it mind blowing Psyph was rolling stock for so long, hell or even for a day!
Good shit bro. From 1000 watts to 30,000 watts and still no short cuts taken. Keep up the good work bro.
Because if youre gonna do something, do it right or dont do it at all.
meade916 the only reason I start up my pc and watch his videos for hours ....
damnnnnnnn meade916 liked my comment thankss
thanks a lot man i love it!
Been thinking of getting component speakers for the Tahoe but didn't know where to mount the box.. This just gave me some ideas.. Nice work man..
Always enjoyed your attention to detail to even the most minuscule things. Love all the videos.
As someone who has installed car audio equipment for many close friends and family, your work is very admirable. Show these young cats some hard work, you just make it look easy.
I completely understand your reasoning, but damn I wouldn't think twice about watching your videos even if they were 20-30 minutes long. Y'all do some truly quality work without cutting any corners. Eager for the next video
thanks man!

I like to idiot proof the door panels too. That’s a cool crossover mount. Never thought about using thin gauge steel like that. Awesome install!!! Can’t wait for the react video. He’s gonna be stoked. Nothing like that first tuned listen.
This helped me out with designing the build for my car. Thanks, man!

Clever way to mount the crossovers.. Always learning new stuff on this channel 👌
Clean install. Looking good, cant wait to see the end result.
Audio system worth more than the car! lol $1500 Honda with $3k audio system. Might aswell install a viper alarm in there lol. Great work though Steve.

Very nice mounts for the crossovers Steve. Clean and simple, that's how it's supposed to go.
Mad props on fabbing up those simple, but practical x-over mounts!
thanks Delvin. It was freestyle mode haha...i just saw it and made it work. Helps having my little sheet metal brake (and years of roofing under my belt). I am used to working with GSM.

I miss the days when rockford built there actual seperates. Their tweeter, midrange, midbass combo for front stage was so clean and crisp.
Hey steve, could you do a vid on how to choose equipment for your system? Like to know the decision making process from a pro perspective.
I.e. What level speakers and how you know they'll fit - than what amp brand and what you look for etc
More care given to the wiring than some car manufacturers lol. Excellent video.
Nice Big Dawg, someday iam coming down to purchase some of those 18” Decedents Subwoofers you have, iam saving up some money till that day comes, for Sure, keep up the good work Homie 👍🏽👍🏽

Hell yeah was waiting for this video to come out good work man would love to see your shop on person sending love from Michigan
Awesome video as always. Just one question why is psyph cruising in an accord?
why not? something wrong with an Accord? Were you expecting a lambo? Why don't you have a car yet?
I actually engineer, design, install and program whole house automation, and theaters, which is all 12 volt anyway, but what I enjoy is that he makes his nstalls as idiot proof as possible, just like I use to do when I installed car audio. Catching up on all your videos Steve enjoying them
Hell yeah steve jammin type o negative
i'm fucking terrible with door panels and you make it look so damn easy, fantastic work as always
in my defense...it is an easy car and an easy panel haha! but thanks bro i appreciate ya.
could you do an educational series? i know your projects are pretty well documented and you're a busy guy but i would love to learn more tips and tricks.
Good idea i 2nd that ^^^^^
Great work !!! Keep them coming. Can't wait until video 3. Thanks.
