Thanks a lot - this video really helped - I happened to have a similar grill and replacement part, however, the previous owner had removed the igniter completely. This video helped to identify how the square part fits in the round hole which was not intuitively obvious. I had to remove the white ceramic igniter itself in order to bend up the tab to lock it in place. Much appreciated!
I have the same model… I use it all year around, I just love this BBQ,best BBQ for your money. Thank for the video,I’ll get right on it. Get rrrrr done!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🍺🍺🍺🍻🍻🍻☮️
Wow, I wish I had seen this before replacing all the parts on my 20 year Weber grill. I got everything done except for the igniter. I know I was just missing something, and there it was the screws on the side. I spent more time trying to figure that out then it took to replace the igniter. Great video, thanks!!!
Getting the screw back in was the most difficult part! And then my spring on the button didn’t work. So I took it apart again and reassembled. Then it worked. But I have no idea why it didn’t work the first time.🤔
Thank you so much for this video. As a single mom I very seldom ask anyone for help. ( stubborn I guess ) I feel very confident that i can change mine out now thanks to your video!!!

Really well done video, glad to see I’m not the only guy still with a 20 yr old working Weber grill!
Thanks. Not many things last past 7-10 years so kudos to Weber for a product well made.
I still have mine! Replaced burners and flavor bars last year. Still using original starter! 🤞🏻

Ours is from ‘97 - I’ve done this before (in 2019) but your video was a good refresher! I might try the burners next!
