    I've now tested a lot of glasses and I'm totally overwhelmed by the Goovis G3, and that's saying something when I say that to those who usually just complain...
    You absolutely have to test them. It's like you're in a real home cinema, the picture is way bigger and better than with any other glasses.
    Because of the OLED with 2K each, like when you sit in front of a 4K OLED TV, I have an LG here for comparison.
    The best picture I've seen in glasses, without distortion and with adjustable diopters and eye relief really TOP...
    You don't see a pixel, the colors and the brightness are a dream...
    Please do a test.....
    I ordered it on Indego and after 4 days it was already here....
    The only thing is the built in speakers are rubbish but that's in everyone's glasses so since they have a headphone jack it's not a problem.
    And the media player that can be included is also great.
    You can plug the glasses into anything PS5 Switch Steam Deck PC etc all in 2D or 3D...
    I'm still testing the quality of the 3D rendering, but I think it's going to be TOP as well....

      That's helpful as i'm thinking of buying them to watch Netflix etc and movies via youtube. I have a bad neck and am finding I can't sit and watch tv for very long anymore.

    I've been using the G3 Max for a few weeks now and that screen never stops amazing me. Yes it is expansive, but what you are paying is a cinematic system that is less than 300g and the size of headphones.

    Hmmm for $799 i think meta quest 3 will be better. Cause g3 functions actually just like a monitor. But i am very interesting with lens adjustment for glasses user, that's very smart feature.

    • @scooterss2112
      @scooterss2112 7 місяців тому

      This is a lot easier than goofing with Meta just to play a game on your PC. Theres not a ton of hoops to jump through. Just plug in and play.

    • @bos3y

      @scooterss2112 you don't need a pc to play games on meta. Just turn it on and it's ready. And you can still use it as an external monitor

    10:25 you state it's running at 4k x 120Hz. The official specs and the specs in your video caption both say it can only run 4k x 60. Which is accurate??

    • @jayarmstrong
      @jayarmstrong 5 місяців тому

      @@ChigzTech thanks but official specs on their site say it can only do 120Hz at 1920x1080. I found another review that confirmed it. 5k is marketing unfortunately. It's 2.5k per eye so actually 1440p. I decided not to buy it after learning that.

    About the 3D=?
    Amazing so far, really thinking to get it if i can play my games in 3D with nice depth, like on my Samsung UHD 3D Tv with 2D to 3D converting option (2014 model, no more available)
    Is it converting 2D into 3D or its just playing already 3D content from 3D Blu-Ray Players?
    Whats when i plug in it into a 2D to 3D Converter to get 3D effect?
    You guys think its gonna work somehow to get 3D from any Games with this device?

    • @jayarmstrong
      @jayarmstrong 5 місяців тому +1

      It probably requires your source to play SBS mode. Other similar devices switch to 3D that way. So each eye sees half the screen and you focus your eyes on a virtual 3D screen.

    Do you get full binocular overlap [100%] on max fov [63 degrees i think] or do you have to reduce screen size for the binocular overlap ? very important for me as i do get full binocular overlap on hmz-t2 , but not on royole moon 4G [sim version]

    I watched the whole video trying to guess the price and thought maybe £400 ... I wasn't prepared for the eye watering £620. As much as I would love to own one of these, that's just too expensive for what it is. Great review though as always.

    Thanks for the review - i'm on the verge of getting them as I broke my neck and can't sit in a chair a lot. I can work and walk, but the head aches from sitting watching tv for two hours are getting over the top. I see myself in an armchair in the zero G position enjoying Avatar in 3d... :)
    I'm stuck between getting the media player with it or not. It seems like a really easy way of streaming and my next option would be a really long (5m) HDMI cable to connect it to my tv or a tablet that runs out of power ever hour or two. Thoughts on the media device anyone?

      i have both hmz-t2 and hmz-t3 , they are great , but this thing is still exciting with usb-C [display port alt mode input] which most high end phones support , another competitor is Cinera Edge Pro which is around usd 899 but the design of that sucks big time [remember royole moon] , i have not owned any goovis product yet this seems promising ! but i is till not 4k per eye . for 65 FOV which g3 boasts of - this 'd be the best 3D device in the world !

  • @SjaakSchulteis
    @SjaakSchulteis Рік тому +2

    While I was watching this video I was thinking about the price (of course).... if you have a playstation, I think you would be a fool to buy this headset. Then better buy the PSVR2. And for watching movies? Pico4 is great, even the Quest2 is good enough and I expect the Quest3 is going to be awesome. Not only you can watch movies, but can play games in VR. If you use Virtual Desktop on your headset, you can play any game from your PC in your headset. The price has to come down to around 200 to 300 $. Then it could be an alternative.
    I personally watch movies with my 80 $ projector, with which I can play games and watch movies up to 1080p, but also 4K movies can be displayed. To me the quality is good enough.

    I got the Royole Moon cinema headset after hearing similar reviews and boy did it turn out to be a load of crap. It never connected to my gaming console through the hdmi cable, nor could I get it connected to my laptop to act as a monitor. I couldn't transfer video files to the headset to store like it says on the box. I don't believe any of these reviewers and think these devices are gimmicks and nothing but lies.
