You’re correct, the 13 pro is a flagship & the reason why I upgraded early from an XS Max. Seeing all the reviews for it caused me to pick it up approximately 1 year later for 1/2 the original cost since it had a cracked back, but continues to function flawlessly. Picked up a couple SupCases for it so it shouldn’t get anymore damage now. But as you mentioned, the 13 Pro is amazing.
The Pro Max series of devices really are a great choice if you decide to keep your device long term. In my ownership the 13 PM was flawless. I’m a very heavy user and could easily manage 1.5-2 days of use ranging from social media, camera, video streaming, and a surprising amount of phone calls. The camera is fantastic and the promotion display really sets it apart from other models. When I upgraded to the 14 PM i noticed pretty much no change except a slightly better camera and the Dynamic Island. I gave the 13 PM to my mother and she’s been ecstatic with it as a light user. In her use the phone easily lasts 2-3 days and she loves the camera. While certainly overkill for many, I find it to be worth the cost if you spend a significant amount of time on your phone for various reasons.
I totally agree with you. I had the iPhone 14 promax I returned it. I didn’t notice a big difference and the camera seems identical but the iPhone 13 promax has a way better battery like a noticeably different battery the dynamic island after a while it’s really not a big deal. After using the dynamic island 🏝️ it’s not so fun anymore it’s just kinda of just there

But Unfortunately, I’ve found some annoying laggy animations ( possibly screen refresh issue ) in 1. New notifications in IOS 16.1.2 and they always happen and annoying when I swipe up and down the latest notifications I get, more importantly it is sharper and more evident on LARGER TEXT MODE. New notification version is not smooth on my iPhone in comparison with other iPhone ( 12 or 11 ) 2. After pressing EDIT button at the left page on home screen, you’ll observe a completely laggy animation of adding widget. Furthermore, Safari also suffers from laggy animation in most of the time ( not always ) when I shift from a window to another one. I’ll be delighted if you solve these lags and errors which other customers also reported on Comments. Let me know If it is needed to tag other errors I’ve been able to experience through using IOS 16.1.2
Just picked up my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I was looking for a 14 pro max but they were sold out. I am completely happy with my 13 pro max, battery is as good as everybody says and I absolutely love it. ❤
The 13 Pro Max is my first iPhone ever after a decade using Android. I absolutely love it, it never failed a single time, battery lasts 2 days easy and it feels ultra smooth. My android phones, mostly Samsung galaxy, didn’t age too well, after a year the battery was dead (that was the main reason why I switched to iPhone). The online thing I miss is Google assistant, Siri is an absolute joke 😅

@@Antda1. I honestly don’t use Siri very often just for very basic tasks. And yes the 13 pro max battery is incredible. I have it since September last year and I use it a lot every single day and it still has 98% battery capacity

My 13 Pro Max is actually my very first iPhone. Yes, I'm a long-time Android guy, but I've never regretted for even one second my switch. It's an awesome phone!
I’ve had the 13 pro max since release date and well my battery is at 88% health. I’ve got to say tho, I’m a really heavy user. I use my iPhone for absolutely everything. Watching UA-cam, Netflix, social media, work and overall phone use like texting and talking. I did notice tho, FaceTime is the only app that really does drain battery like it’s nothing.
Lmao its only been a year people act like everytime something new comes out the last one isnt good anymore but why wouldnt it be? If my XS max is still moving fluently of course last years phone is doing great😂💀
yeah it’s one thing i hate about these types of content, and i really think this reinforces the idea that we need to replace ur phones annually and the one that really benefits from this are only the tech companies. but i dont blame the content creators bc it’s in the competition side of the tech niche.
My first iPhone was the 6 plus. I have a 12 pro and bought the 13 pm. I will admit I have found the 13 pm to be the best for me. 13 Pro Max is my favorite phone of 2021 AND 2022! Battery, speed, feel, cameras, software and I feel it only got better with iOS 16! The 15 Pro Max has to be super incredible for me to let it go.
I'm seriously considering switching from Android to 13 pro max because of the pro motion tech which is 120hz refresh rate that I have now with my Android phone. I still use my iPhone 6s plus as a back up phone and it still incredible
I went with 13 pro max alpine green with 150$ less price than 14 pro max. It’s just 6 months old due to new colour and I’m strongly happy with it. Will keep it for a long time.
Yeah i have compared photos. Back and forth b/w 14 PM and 13 PM. Tricky lighting conditions where light behind subject, 14 PM is better…13 PM turn faces orange. But in other conditions, 13 PM gives more pleasing colors while 14 PM just over-sharpen everything to 100x! Weird choices made by Apple this year.
I love how premium it feels in the hands. It lets you know that it’s $1000 the minute you feel it’s weight and cold body. How seamless going in and out of apps is with the sheer power of the A15 bionic chip. How the home swipe literally never fails, speakers, camera, it’s beautiful.. the iPhone 15 ultra tho would probably be THE iPhone tho . Apples passed the 3 trillion dollar point. 15 is a milestone .. idk 🤷🏽♂️ i do love an Apple moment

My 13 pro one a year old now, I am not a heavy user, use the original charger, I dont charge overnight. For some reason my battery health went down to 93%
I just bought the iPhone 13 Pro Max used one TB practically new and mint condition with 100 percent battery life capacity and yes the battery life is insane !!!!!! Easily can go a day and a half to two days without charging .
I went with the alpine green iPhone 13 Pro Max instead of the 14 Pro Max and I certainly don’t regret it this phone is the best phone I have ever owned and i’ve owned a lot all the the way back to the galaxy s3 days. It is amazing. I agree 100 percent
It is better than the 14 promax, the nachos way less intrusive than the dynamic island, but the next legend for iPhone will be the one with the periscope zoom, and a hole punch after that in the display

I’ve had my IPhone 13 Pro Max since the release date. And it really is an incredible phone! Definitely a “Legendary” phone. Most likely going to keep this one for several years
It seems that the odd numbered iPhones are (now) the better phones in terms of battery and specs hike the even numbered iPhones have slightly better specs. But this is only relevant in the last 4 iPhones IMO
Promotion 120hz, with the device system update it seems like don’t have 120hz only feels like 80-90hz. The 15.7.1 update brings it back a little bit but still doesn’t feel like 120hz as well.
It's a great phone, but coming directly from Android, you are missing out on normal looking photos. Seriously the video on iphone 13 is great but the pictures are totally crap unless you use Lightroom mobile or something.
13 pro max will be a iconic phone in the iphone lineup looking back for a while. It was the first iPhone that practically had zero compromises hardware wise, if you where really picking maybe the only thing you could say is that it has usb 2.0 and ddr4 ram, but everything else is still pretty much top notch.
Amen! I have been using iPhones since the 3GS and the 13 Pro Max is hands down their best phone ever, even better than the latest 14 Pro Max. Sold my 256 13 Pro max and replaced it with a 512gb one so I wouldn’t have to upgrade for the next few years until Apple maybe releases a completely notchless iPhone. For the record the old notch on the 13 is way less intrusive than the so called dynamic island. It’s one of the reasons I don’t like the 14 Pro Max.
I am waiting for my 13 pro since I have the 12 PM but just want a smaller phone - besides that I am looking forward for the pro motion since I have had ipads pro and a MBP 13”🙏
I am looking to possibly buy this over a 14 series in general, and maybe even compromise size because I haven't ever had a plus or max model ever or even a pro or flagship phone since the 7, as someone who had the XR for a bit and has only gone back to it because he bought a 12 used and didn't look after it, I can confidently say that beating my XR battery experience will be tough as even on 89% now it's getting me through tough days with sometimes 30% left on a 4 year old iPhone. So the 13 series in general is a major win in my eyes

I’ve owned an IPhone 13 Pro Max since last summer. I’d owned an IPhone 12, yet I found the nits brightness was difficult to see when outside. Someone showed me the difference on the brightness levels between the IPhone 12 and the 13 Pro max. I thought the 13 Pro Max was the phone to go for. I use another device as well. The IPhone 13 Pro Max is great using it out and about. I like the double Aa reader mode in the top left corner.
Never doubted the this phone is the best right now in terms of value for money and to the battery aspect. However, I updated mine to the 16.1.1 and the battery is kinda draining fast. IDK why. By the way, J-Sun, do you have any tinting issues on your unit? Like redish pinkish tint either on the upper left or right side? You can notice it when you turn on the dark mode, below 50% brightness, opening apps with grey background and inside a low lit environment/room. It sucks that mine has knowing Apple charges hella prices but QC fails.
Seems as though some others are experiencing battery drain with the latest softy update, hopefully apple fixes that asap. No tinting for me, I would go have it checked out at the Apple Store!
This video was great! I agree with all the points! I was actually just considering buying the iPhone 14 pro and sell my 13 PM just because of the size. I kind of want to go back to a smaller pro phone. This video helped me realize this is the best iPhone I have ever owned (and longest having it 14 months now). I agree, the 13 Pro max is a milestone in model release. As was / the 4s & 6s Plus & XS Max. I still have mine. ProMotion is't in my experience is cool but sure not a big deal on a handheld for regular ppl w/ average tasks. You gotta try to notice it. If you're gaming or something w/ fast moment, cool. But for reading, not unless you can read that fast while blowing through pages. I can't. Hehe. For everything is awesome.

Haha iPhone 6+ is on my desk right now I use it for stocks and news and a couple other things I don’t have any apple stuff without a case except the six I have the first 2? iPad minis I’m not sure what to do with, probably wind up taking on apart.
honestly, apple nailed it with the iphone 13 series because it packed just about every other previous iphone into it namely the iphone 11 promax, and it's obvious that the iphone 14 couldn't do much to set itself a part from it besides a few not reeeaallllyyyy needed upgrades to the camera 😅👌

I will tell you this if you wanna keep your battery health at 100% use the actual charger that came with it. I used a regular charger from like the gas station and let me tell you my battery went from 100. 97 in 2 days
I just got a iPhone 14 pro max 256gb last Tuesday and it has been laggy since Day one and the battery dropped from 11 hours a day to 8 hours a day after thanksgiving and I got it through trade in w t mobile so $800 off I still have my 11 64gb which has much more issues which I need to trade in on wensday and idk what to do if I change my phone they will charge me a $75 restocking fee which is really annoying but I had issues w my 11 too right out of the box also from t mobile but that was buy one get one free so I didn’t mind but I’m paying $400 extra instead of the 14 so I really need help

After 1 year of use and the battery is at 100%. Statistics can be deceiving sometimes. I have the normal 13 and the battery sits at 85%

I’ve had my IPhone 13 Pro Max since the release date. And it really is an incredible phone! Definitely a “Legendary” phone. Most likely going to keep this one for several years

I’ve bought a new phone every year for ten years till I got the 13 pro max. Still charge it every day but never had it die in a day. Amazing.
It seems that the odd numbered iPhones are (now) the better phones in terms of battery and specs hike the even numbered iPhones have slightly better specs. But this is only relevant in the last 4 iPhones IMO
I never used the 13 pro Max but my iPhone 14 pro max’s battery is insane! it lasts me 2 days + before charging

Promotion 120hz, with the device system update it seems like don’t have 120hz only feels like 80-90hz.
The 15.7.1 update brings it back a little bit but still doesn’t feel like 120hz as well.
It's a great phone, but coming directly from Android, you are missing out on normal looking photos. Seriously the video on iphone 13 is great but the pictures are totally crap unless you use Lightroom mobile or something.

13 pro max will be a iconic phone in the iphone lineup looking back for a while. It was the first iPhone that practically had zero compromises hardware wise, if you where really picking maybe the only thing you could say is that it has usb 2.0 and ddr4 ram, but everything else is still pretty much top notch.
The battery on my iPhone 14 Pro Max is just out of this world. Nothing compares

Amen! I have been using iPhones since the 3GS and the 13 Pro Max is hands down their best phone ever, even better than the latest 14 Pro Max. Sold my 256 13 Pro max and replaced it with a 512gb one so I wouldn’t have to upgrade for the next few years until Apple maybe releases a completely notchless iPhone. For the record the old notch on the 13 is way less intrusive than the so called dynamic island. It’s one of the reasons I don’t like the 14 Pro Max.
Since they put the same chip in the iPhone 14 as the 13 pro max we will get an extra year cycle of support for the iPhone 13pro max.

I am looking to possibly buy this over a 14 series in general, and maybe even compromise size because I haven't ever had a plus or max model ever or even a pro or flagship phone since the 7, as someone who had the XR for a bit and has only gone back to it because he bought a 12 used and didn't look after it, I can confidently say that beating my XR battery experience will be tough as even on 89% now it's getting me through tough days with sometimes 30% left on a 4 year old iPhone. So the 13 series in general is a major win in my eyes

I’ve owned an IPhone 13 Pro Max since last summer. I’d owned an IPhone 12, yet I found the nits brightness was difficult to see when outside. Someone showed me the difference on the brightness levels between the IPhone 12 and the 13 Pro max. I thought the 13 Pro Max was the phone to go for. I use another device as well. The IPhone 13 Pro Max is great using it out and about. I like the double Aa reader mode in the top left corner.

Never doubted the this phone is the best right now in terms of value for money and to the battery aspect. However, I updated mine to the 16.1.1 and the battery is kinda draining fast. IDK why.
By the way, J-Sun, do you have any tinting issues on your unit? Like redish pinkish tint either on the upper left or right side? You can notice it when you turn on the dark mode, below 50% brightness, opening apps with grey background and inside a low lit environment/room.
It sucks that mine has knowing Apple charges hella prices but QC fails.
Seems as though some others are experiencing battery drain with the latest softy update, hopefully apple fixes that asap. No tinting for me, I would go have it checked out at the Apple Store!

This video was great! I agree with all the points! I was actually just considering buying the iPhone 14 pro and sell my 13 PM just because of the size. I kind of want to go back to a smaller pro phone. This video helped me realize this is the best iPhone I have ever owned (and longest having it 14 months now). I agree, the 13 Pro max is a milestone in model release. As was / the 4s & 6s Plus & XS Max. I still have mine.
ProMotion is't in my experience is cool but sure not a big deal on a handheld for regular ppl w/ average tasks. You gotta try to notice it. If you're gaming or something w/ fast moment, cool. But for reading, not unless you can read that fast while blowing through pages. I can't. Hehe.

’ve been a one-year customer and I have iPhone 13 pro max ( 256 GB) and I should admit that I love it.
But Unfortunately, I’ve found some annoying laggy animations ( possibly screen refresh issue ) in
1. New notifications in IOS 16.1.2 and they always happen and annoying when I swipe up and down the latest notifications I get, more importantly it is sharper and more evident on LARGER TEXT MODE. New notification version is not smooth on my iPhone in comparison with other iPhone ( 12 or 11 )
2. After pressing EDIT button at the left page on home screen, you’ll observe a completely laggy animation of adding widget.
Furthermore, Safari also suffers from laggy animation in most of the time ( not always ) when I shift from a window to another one.
I’ll be delighted if you solve these lags and errors which other customers also reported on Comments.
Let me know If it is needed to tag other errors I’ve been able to experience through using IOS 16.1.2
Haha iPhone 6+ is on my desk right now I use it for stocks and news and a couple other things I don’t have any apple stuff without a case except the six I have the first 2? iPad minis I’m not sure what to do with, probably wind up taking on apart.
honestly, apple nailed it with the iphone 13 series because it packed just about every other previous iphone into it namely the iphone 11 promax, and it's obvious that the iphone 14 couldn't do much to set itself a part from it besides a few not reeeaallllyyyy needed upgrades to the camera 😅👌

I’ve had other iPhones but I must say the iPhone 13 Pro Max is the best iPhone I have used it’s well optimized and the battery life is amazing my husband owns the Samsung z fold 3 and he said he wished his phone had the battery life of the iPhone 13 Pro Max I will keep this iPhone for as long as i can ❤

I always upgrade my iPhone yearly since iPhone 6 and currently I have 13 Pro Max this year though 14 Pro Max with the island top and little tweaks is not justifiable enough for me to upgrade,its a joke by this time their little tweaks, I WILL WAIT WHAT 15 PRO MAX WILL BRING..13 PRO MAX IS STILL THE BEST FOR ME ATVTHIS TIME.
I will tell you this if you wanna keep your battery health at 100% use the actual charger that came with it. I used a regular charger from like the gas station and let me tell you my battery went from 100. 97 in 2 days

I just got a iPhone 14 pro max 256gb last Tuesday and it has been laggy since Day one and the battery dropped from 11 hours a day to 8 hours a day after thanksgiving and I got it through trade in w t mobile so $800 off I still have my 11 64gb which has much more issues which I need to trade in on wensday and idk what to do if I change my phone they will charge me a $75 restocking fee which is really annoying but I had issues w my 11 too right out of the box also from t mobile but that was buy one get one free so I didn’t mind but I’m paying $400 extra instead of the 14 so I really need help

I feel like they changed the battery life calculation with iOS16 update. For me it suddenly changed from 100% to 91% in a month or so 💀

After a year of 13 pro max it’s too big to be honest yes the battery is legendary but the phone gave me carpets tunnel lol it’s big and I’m not small handed I’m 6 2 and I can type one handed I love it but I’m downsized for the same price trade in to a 13 pro and I’m in love again
