I looked up that Crown Records label. It seems that record was issued in January 1959 in mono, and featured knock-off renditions of famous tunes of the day rerecorded by anonymous people redoing them for the cheaper record label. So that was what got chosen.
Blakely Uselman the Pink Floyd version is great too. The entirety of The Wall is a beautiful album. The Queen version rocks too, but I prefer the Floyd one.
Vinyl records are like hand writing in the sense I think it will always be around somewhere in some form even if it's never the most popular method of sharing data, (ideas, moods, feelings, sounds, voices, etc). Anything that shows interest in the "How's and Why's" of records, or hand writing for that matter, only keeps it alive longer through the rarity of its eclectic nature. Your video (reaction) is good to share as well on this subject because it's a shared world, even if for merely a moment. I once chucked a cd-rom up on one of those drum sander bits for a dremel and spun it up, when you moved it around, the gyroscopic nature made it difficult to move it around....but when the disc finally shattered (in which I was very lucky to not have gotten hit by any pieces) one shard actually embedded in the sheetrock wall and another shard shot through a partially full soda bottles, being caught by the plastic. DO NOT TRY AT HOME!!!
I remember Cutting Crew released their single "(I Just) Died In Your Arms" on vinyl designed to look like a circular saw blade (it was limited). Can you imagine how that would look in this video?
I doubt it will have much effect on the vinyl community. One thing is certain- I would never walk barefoot in that backyard (garden) again. There will be fragments of those records in that grass for the rest of time.

I doubt they bought expensive ones, just scratched crappy ones from a boot sale. There was another video where people "pirated" a record with some sort of epoxy resin and played it on a crosley,they'd probably bought the cheapest record player they could find just for the video.

I can't read it perfectly, but the title of the first record looks like "16 Top Hits" - so a compilation, but don't know which year. Second record "F...... Library of ....... Music" "[Famous] Library of [Great] Music?" The ones I could take a guess at are compilations, kind of like Now That's What I Call Music compos (or even the the sort of stuff that Oddity Archive would refer to as "Record Rip-offs", such as Top Of The Pops compos or Music For Pleasure compos) I'd assume they're not too valuable.

I can’t believe this. I’m a record nut I loooove records especially the old ones from the 40s 50s and 60s. I bought a beautiful 1956 granco eastern series console stereo the kind that has the door in the middle on the front of the cabinet and when you open it you pull the record player out like a drawer and the radio is above it. It’s such perfect condition that it looks like it was made yesterday and sound amazing lol I can not believe how good it sounds it sounds way better than this modern stuff. It has 12 vacuum tubes in it and got 2 16 inch subwoofers one on each side behind the cream colored cloth and 2 huge horn speakers I swear it’s got so much volume that just on number three it will blow you out of the room lol it knocked a picture off the wall behind it and the lamp I have sitting on the top in the center vibrated off and I was like what was that something fell and that’s what it was. Two of my friends are on the hunt for one now. I only paid $100 for mine. But anyways if I had a record to choose to spin and break it would be a one hit wonder from the 80s lol I would never break one of my older records they are in perfect condition plus I don’t like but just certain songs from the 80s so all the rest from the 80s I would definitely spin and break. Lol.
