Just 10 days ago I replaced my 2003 Tahoe (which I loved) with a 2021 Traverse RS. I wanted a new Tahoe, but didn’t want to spend $60,000 on a vehicle. The Traverse is great. The only two minus things are the seat isn’t as cushy or soft as the Tahoe and the sound the doors and lift gate make, when they close, sound like they aren’t closed all the way(roll eyes). I guess I’ll get used to that. They do make a soft close sound, though. Being higher up, like the Tahoe, was important to me. I like being able to see the big picture, instead of bumpers and tires. The Traverse is comparable. They are the same length, but the Traverse needs more room to open all the way. This makes a difference to me when I am unloading in the garage, with the garage door closed behind me. We have shelving in front of where I park. So far, so good. I guess these things are being nit picky. Otherwise, I am very pleased. I really didn’t think I would be able to find a new vehicle, that I liked as much as my Tahoe, at an affordable price. I tried to find a 1 or 2 year old Tahoe. None to be had. Closest one was 2015 for same money I spent on my Traverse. One more nit pick, why are most new cars in such a limited selection of colors? Pretty soon all newer vehicles are going to be the same 4 or 5 colors. White, silver, gray, dark gray, black and maybe red. Boring.…
Be sure to let your other viewers know that I bulldozed my way to work through that rock-hard ice, which detached part of the splash shield from my car, being a sedan driver. And I’d like to be higher off the ground because I guess like you said, increased height = better view of your surroundings.
Thanks for the video. I'm taking my wife to look at the Traverse next month as well as the Buick Enclave. Our 2013 Explorer has served us well the past 8 years but we are ready for a change.

You’re experience is what brought that to mind and caused me to share that information. I hope you never have to deal with that again.
Love traverse 2019, was able to get 33-35 mph on the highway for long trips.
You only could only go 35 mph? Did you mean 35 mpg?
Traverse o durango 2021. Que es mejor.?
The competition also includes the Toyota Highlander. You didn’t mentioned that. 😏
You're right. I didn't "mentioned" that. 😂 Next time.

You’re welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment.
How much is it
Maybe you looked away from the screen at 0:28 when the price was shown.
0:27 - 0:33. This is why I began highlighting the price so it is obvious and people still ask what the price is. 🤷♂️
@@VehicleVisionary Maybe those people are listening to the video instead of watching??

Thank you, Tom!!
She cant buy it
