Actually zelda has a lot of protagonist but they are all called link and have almost the same personality. But i'm gonna be so mad if they made a zelda game with a different protagonist from the other links. Actually i was so mad when link from botw didn't start with green clothes.
Though what would the gameplay look like? Since Link covers both exploration and puzzle solving. People have suggested that Zelda could be a population simulator where you have to keep your citizens safe and happy.
I only can think of a Hack and Slash. But there's Hyrule Warriors. Like, imagine a game like God of War but with Ganondorf. Having the evil power fantasy. And I mean the classic ones.
I mean, link is litterally awesome. Plus you can get so many outfits to customize how be looks. My personal outfit is frostbite stuff and then snowquill headgear.

You can finally learn the EarthWake technique the Yiga Blademasters use against you Zonai Devices, all 27 of them to use New sage abilities replacing the now gone champion abilities (though probably not as useful) New hand abilities replacing the somehow gone Shieka Slate (can be VERY useful) A more interesting story with a decent plot twist if you don't see it coming A much better final boss fight and if you go straight for him you will have to deal with 7 waves of various enemies/boss fights to get to the final boss which is a 3 part boss fight itself. ETC. Yeah right, while the extra ten dollars wasn't really necessary its worth it. Now admittedly it would be nice to play as or have Zelda along for the ride for most of the game though Spirit Tracks did something close enough.

The game has the most replay value out of probably any nintendo game. Try achieving a different goal than beating ganon, or maybe beating the game with only this type of gear. Here's the thing. Most of the Zelda games have a different link and even then, some have so much personality that ever link feels fresh. Take skyward sword and wind waker link, they're the most expressive links and some of my favorites. And if you think that's boring and want to play as someone else, just play Hyrule warriors. The first one has at least 20 characters and some with multiple weapon movesets and the same thing can be said for age of calamity.
I love the graphics, I enjoy the simplicity. They look decent, but because they aren’t too complicated, they’ll always look decent. Hyper-realistic games age really poorly, but more simple ones age well.
Your content is awesome! I love watching, but a suggestion I would give is to bring up aspects from the game in the argument more. Whenever you responded it was less examples from the game to counter and more generic comebacks, but other than that this was another great vid!
