single player game dont die. they cant. 10,20 years from now, you can download the game and still able ti play it. live service game can die however. one the game end of service, that is it. you will never be able to play it ever again. the sever will be down and you cant login. also, I play the game on both Pc and PS5, and I see no input lag. im not sure why you have input lag problem, but I didnt experience any. some frame drop and freeze, but that is it
