In todays video we are here to react to the news of 5 players leaving rangers at the end of their contract whilst discussing the only player to be given a new deal as clement looks to revamp the squad and reinvest wages freed up by aging stars to get the team he wants, this is our reaction to the players that have been released this week by rangers this is our thoughts on their rangers careers and if it was the correct decisions..what about you?

As long as Tav & Goldson remain, the house is far from cleaned. No player that was here under gerrard should still be at the club. It’s time to write a new chapter.
Exactly, it will be the same story if either one of them is here next season. Absolute poison they are to the team and to the new boys coming in..
If they are going to the Saudi league it would be good to get some decent money in for the manager to replace them, around £10-12Million.

When the afore mentioned players “stock was at their highest” we needed them or 55 wouldn’t have happened and we probably would’ve struggled to replace them on our budget.
Reality is though, they should have gone after 55 value was still very high but board didnt want to upset gerrard who left anyway. That cycle was over sell and reinvest in cheaper and younger. And so on so forth. Kent and barasic going for free when they could both have gotten close to 10 million after that season is criminal.

If that happened though everyone would say how the board has no ambition & complaine they're just selling our best players. It stems back to after we win the league, the board should have backed Gerrard. Instead they decided they'd rather save money & they allowed Celtic back in. With better recruitment to since then we'd be fine now & guys that have been here since Gerrard, woyldn't be as important to the team in the last few years.@@Weeji_420

Well balanced and considered opinions as ever, CJ. I sincerely hope that some of the top people at the club watch this channel regularly because you really speak for the ordinary supporters. They need to understand what the club means to us and how switched on they need to be in buying and selling players. It’s not unreasonable to expect at least one player per season to be ready to step up from the Academy and that would also assist with maintaining our Scottish core. More power to your elbow!

29 clean sheets in 46 games is some record for McLaughlin, but conceding 29 in only 17 games shows he was in goals for some absolute tankings too, back to back 4-0's against them and Ajax spring to mind
Clear out this season is a must starting from the back should cash in on Tav n goldson to Saudi if these two dont get ousted then next season will be just the same chasing the league once more so please strengthen our defence 💙💙💙💙⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️🙏
Thanks CJ for all the videos and honest appraisal. Sad for Ryan Jack as he will always be what could have been. If fit, he would have been the first name on the team sheet and for me, the obvious choice as captain. The others had their moments and for that we thank them as we should for all that pull on that jersey.

Jack hardly EVER Played and YET WE ALSO Made Him, Millions ??? WHY ARE GOLDSON AND TAV NOT ALSO GOING COS although they played Most games for us, they were rather shit and we've made THEM Both MILLIONS TOO ??? Our FC IS A BUSTED FLUSH WITH THIS Board.
Ryan Jack was here 7 seasons and played 159 games by actual mins played (adding up all his mins and dividing by 90), considering we play an average of 55 games a season he played less than 3 full seasons worth of games for us during his time here
Feel bad for Jack. Rangers man and on his day made us much better. I remember when he was nicknamed "Mr Consistent" and people were calling for him to be captain. Injury wrecked his career and he never reached the heights he could have.
I think this happened with Lundstram because of the balance in midfield was off and he would drop in to defence however he jogged a lot when speed was needed!
Roofe and that goal was best I have seen too!
I'm a massive fan of Jack. Sad to see him go however I do think it's best for us all if he moves on and hopefully comes back at some point to help the club in one way or another because all I've ever heard about him is that he'd run through a wall for us.

How the club handled kent and barasic is criminal tbh. Both should have gone after 55 get some value to reinvest, but no, scared and placated gerrard and lost out on close to 20 million.
Just Need to get rid of the whole defense, wright, Lawrence and dowell.

You're spot on about not cashing in when time has come. Morelos, Ryan Kent, and to a lesser value Barasic, should have brought the club between 45 to 60 million. Poor management there.
So we can say from this it’s easily a 100k a week in wages.
Perhaps your club can pay off some of the dept now. 👍

Sadly the final memories of these players isn't good. At the least the club will save a fortune on medical fees and wages now that Jack and Roofe are gone. It's crazy how much cash we've wasted on these players. We've definitely built up their pension pots anyway

The rest of the team should be passionate and hungry to beat Celtic. Hopefully Tav and Goldson are not part of that, because they don't really know how to beat them.
McLaughlin: good back up keeper, decent signing
Borna: frustrating player, had good periods of play but shat it against them too often
Jack: sore one to see him go but just too many injuries, should have lead us to more trophies over the past few years
Lunny: great at times but too hot and cold, another one who hides when the going got tough, £30k saved a week
Roofe: good technically and one of the best strikers in Scotland when on form but another one who couldn’t play 3 games without breaking down

I would rather Rangers got at least some transfer money from the departing players but the club seems to be rather dysfunctional in those regards. I give Clement six months. We had a treble in our hands but our bottle went.

How did Clement clean house? I know for a fact he offered Lundstram a 3 year deal and Barasic a 2 year deal on reduced terms. Roofe and Jack were injury prone and never getting new deals and McLaughlin was sidelined by Beale and decided to sit out his contract.
Barasic on reduced terms is still cleaning house… not overpaying and letting a player walk is fair, cheap backup and not needing to buy a backup. Lundstram was amazing before these clowns choked after they got top, lunny was the driver there, fell of a cliff and now he is going
Stating the obvious,we need a left sided centre-half.
Souttar or Goldson need to only be picked to play on the right side.
We lost a lot of silly goals not having a left footed player in that position.
Full backs need back up. Step forward the in house young ones? They looked promising.
Otherwise in mid-field and upfront are the injured players going to all become available? If so they might have to do.
I don’t see a huge influx of new players.
We don’t have the money nor I would suggest the inclination to bring in another eight players like last year.
Then try to make at team out of them in time for the European qualifies and avoid having another disastrous start to the league.

Many people, including CJNovo complain that likes of Morelos, Kent, Barisic were not sold earlier. But probably run to Seville would never happen without them. That was "the team like they don't have" (as Goldson said before 2nd leg against Leipzig) who beat Leipzig and Dortmund. If you want to be successful you have to keep vital players. Or perhaps Rangers should be a supermarket?
Sorry to see Ryan Jack go in particular - always my favourite Rangers player of recent years. No other option though I know, with all the time out with injury. I'll always maintain Rangers were better with him than without him. Appreciate the contributions of the others as well. Barisic and Roofe in the 55 season, Lundstram in the run to the Europa cup final. Mclaughlin for saving a penalty against Dundee (honestly can't think of many more positives for him I'm afraid). Best of luck to them all. Can't get sentimental about players leaving now though. Looking forward to new signings, a new era and a positive future. 👍

the same optimism i have after every season in recent years is back again,celtic are not that good and with a successful summer transfer window and clean injury list we are more than capable of putting together a championship winning team,its all about making the right choices and for me so far so good but its still early days!

@@johnoneill8211 true but they have a ceiling on what players they could add,so the chances of them being way better are less,Celtic may have more money but attracting higher level players is where the spfl limits their growth and is the reason why despite many years of uncontested titles they haven't managed to assemble a squad that is elite,this helps rangers as it keeps Celtic shackled as they can't really flex their financial power
Celtic might not be that good but they still turned us over Rangers players don’t have any bottle went to Ross County with their noses up their arse and the relegation team turned them over. League gone.
@@johnshields4333 this is true and the players were at times a disgrace to the shirt,but the good news is it means we are never going to be far behind as Celtic can't really grow beyond their ceiling,all it takes is some good signings and a clearer injury list and we could easily be challenging for the title as early as next season

Lunny and BB get passmarks because they were mostly always available and never hid in the treatment table. They lacked quality, but they were better players for us than Jack, Roofe, and the keeper. The latter 3 are overrated and should have been moved on years ago. They should be donating some of their wages to charities. Absolutely criminal, how much money they took from the club.
