That carpet bomb stratagem usage was goddamn beautiful

@@markvanharen9413 buy the battle pass
(it isn't in the battle pass)
the chemistry of the cast is amazing. It feels like they were all friends in real life too.
3:30 "Light Bug Nest Destroyed"

One of the greatest films ever made.
동감합니다.
The FX of a 1997 movie looks way better than 2024 Marvel movies.
Id suggest getting your eyesight tested.
1:40 it's subtle but the way Rasczak says alright and grins is badass!
Just another misunderstood Paul Voerhoven masterpiece. These are easily some of the best special effects that the 1990's has to offer.
This movie was so corny it was great I still watch it to this day I never saw the others but this one I remember watching it with my best friend in the theater when Rico was about to bleep her an radcheck says “who is in here with you better make it 20 mins” was great love this movie
This movie aged like fine wine.
Every game of Warhammer 40K I play my Imperial Guard against my friend’s Tyranids pretty much goes like this lol 😂😂😂
4:30 "GET DOWN" good thing no one listened
Helldivers Never Quit!!!!
I believe the actor playing Rico chipped or lost a tooth when he jumps off the tanker
what really sucks is that Ace is never mentioned once in the non-existent sequels or in the animated movies
2:46 Good thing their blood isn't acidic or something.
It seems they use their antennae to produce static electricity to make it extremely acidic or something ( 4:30 - 4:35 )
Dizz, Rico and Ace made this movie fantastic. Didn't care much for Captain Carmen "Bad Karma" Ibanez. Dizzy was way hotter and way more fun to hang with.
Who's here because of Helldivers 2?
Nah…we saw this in 97. But I’ll have to look into this Helldivers.
Still waiting in the lobby
io 😊
😅
I'm doing my part
Did they really form a circle and fired their weapons? 😅
FOR DEMOCRACY
I think most viewers didn't understand that people are ruled by a fascist regime and that the bugs are the victims.
whoa whoa. cross fire, cross fire.
Narrator: Previously on Starship Troopers.
Rico got assigned to a new unit..his history teacher was in charge. He gave a test on the first day.”
“I only have one rule. Everyone fights one quits. If you don’t do your job I’ll shoot you. Do you get me?
Narrator: Aced it….Rico and the rest went down to a planet and killed some bugs with some nukes…those are some crispy critters. Then a big bug showed up with some bad breath. Razchik was doing running patterns like he was on the football team 20 years ago. She still lost an arm.
Rico jumped on a bug’s back and rode that thing like a bull “YEAHHHHHH!” then blew it up “DAMN!”
Lt: Nice moves…where did you learn that solider?
Rico: From school sir. I was captain of the team.
Narrator: Na he don’t remember that shit. He was teaching history. He got a promotion cause the lady lost her arm.
Starship troopers
A lesson on the power of...air power
Who is here because of this or because of that... Im here because of Starship Troopers! Im doing my part!
No way Rico would have manged to keep his balance on the back of that tanker, still cool though lol x
He diverted all the chakra to his feet
Well the pervailing theory is that the whole movie is a in universe propaganda video. So logic is thrown out the window for "Cool factor"
Don't you remember? He was captain of the football team in school.
He is GODDAMNED RICO of course he can
Michael Ironside is a National treasure
The special effects weren’t too bad for the time
😅😅😅😅well information good show you can 😅😅😅
Wait a minute, the bomber exist in this movie? So they didn’t use bomber at the first place, but wasting thousands of soldier’s life? What?
Because the previous skymarshall and his administration underestimated the bugs. In this scene they take their full artillery because they learned the lesson
What good can bombers do when the enemy is deep underground and has anti air capabilities? There is a reason they nuke the nests
What an ignorant comment, the movie already answer this dummy
Starcraft, the movie 😎

Thanks for Helldivers 2! and 3 and 4

"What the fuck is combined arms?" -Federation mfs, probably
This is a bug hunt son.
Only time fleet does anything useful in this movie is when they bomb the bugs. All they ever do in the other scenes is get shot down and crash.
Due a remake. You can't replace michael ironside
OBSERVATION do they ever change mags?
Watched many times, never seen new mags
FREEDOM NEEDS NO RELOADING
Good thing I didn't use the liquid tiberium bomb
What a disaster that would have been.
Is it explained how the whole city where they’re from was destroyed but their teacher not only survived by rejoined the military.
Unfair fight. The bugs should have guns too
in the original novel the bugs have laser guns but the mobile infantry are walking tanks so it stays "unfair"
Смех. До звёзд долетели, а всё с автоматами бегают.
Long live the bugs !! Glory be to them !!
I still wonder why they try to get close to the bug while shooting when they have the range advantage with their guns. Doing that caused the deaths of hundreds of troopers in this movie.
Because they were preparing people to invade Iraq back then. They needed to increase this soldier thing.

HellDrivers protecting the glaxay is not always easy, its tough work but spreading freedom is just what we do
Is this scene based on true events?
Of course!
@@Alisa02002 I’m surprised they didn’t teach us this part of history in school. Humans prevailed

You are ghey
The retarded:
You realise its meant to be that way? It's literally satire
One of the worst movies ever.
You must not watch many movies.
@@mrhades652 If you think it's a good movie then you're the one who hasn't seen many.
@@larrymead151 I didn't claim that.
You said 'one of the worst movies ever'.
In a world with Morbius, the Transformers movies, etc., to claim this film is one of the worst is objectively wrong 👍
That and 'Starship Troopers' is a good movie x
'Would you like to know more?'
@@mrhades652 I don't agree with you. It's one of if not the worst adaptation of a novel ever. The acting is horrendous. Really, if an army just ran around in big clumps with no tactics other than run at a bug and shoot them from 5 feet away it would be wiped out in minutes. It's beyond ridiculous.
When I was a kid I thought this film was some exciting action. Now I look at it like an incredibly sad endictment of the human race's destructive superiority complex 😅 There's only one parasitical species here and it's got 2 legs!
that's the point of the book where this movie was inspired from, a human society that is 100% based on war.
Bro actually thinks the arachnids are the victims in this movie. They sure as hell aren't.
@@tau-5794you should look into what the director has said about the film.
@drewrobertwinter7648 What, like when he confirmed that the arachnids did in fact launch the meteor strike on Earth when in the film it's actually pretty ambiguous? I know what the director says about the film but at times it seems like he hasn't even watched his own movie, the Federation is so blatantly utopian and un-repressive that just about the most authoritarian action taken by anyone is wearing Hugo Boss uniforms.
There's also the conflict of interests where the screenwriter actually has read the book and enjoyed it, and translated its utopian future honestly while the director intended (and failed) to make a satire.
