- The last month of rock hunting here in middle Tennessee. 02/23 I’ve been very busy but here’s what I’ve managed to find when I have gotten out. Hope y’all enjoy and i look forward to reading your comments. Have a great weekend UA-cam!
You don't get very many end scrappers that size. Great hunt Ben. Your little one is cuter than a speckled pup. Thank the Lord she took after her mamma.😊👍

@@benallen7793 My daughter is 32 and she's been rock hunting with daddy since I took her in a backpack type baby carrier. She's the apple of my eye and I thank the Lord she took after my bride. You have a awesome weekend too brother. I'll be walking the Banks of the Ohio even though the waters up a little. We've had some pretty big storms for a month. Those 60 ft. high banks have been calving off like a receding glacier. I truly feel empathy for anyone who has never discovered artifact hunting.😊👍♋

It's great to get next generation on hunts with you! My boy loves the hunt and is good luck but my girl ain't about that life. Hope your hunts are going well as 2023 is looking better than ever!!

Making memories it doesn't get any better! I have a son that will turn 6 years old in April. They grow up so fast and time sure does fly by. Congrats to your daughter and all your finds and we enjoyed watching. I wish the best for 2023 my friend! 👍

Killer stuff as always brother, I love those scrapers , 2 killer specimens there ! I don't think I have ever seen one as big as that larger one . That fluted piece is a mighty fine piece too.

That artifact at 10:34 is definitely older than normal. Cool to see the little one out finding one. Nice job all around Ben.
Thank you brother. I think I nailed the point type. I believe its a transpaleo Lerma. It almost looked like a paleo beaver lake or Clovis but again I believe I nailed the typing based on all the point types found over many many trips collecting off this site. Glad you enjoyed the video my friend. Hope you find an absolute stunner on your next trip out. ✌🏻

We’ve been hoping to get out the last few weekends, but we have gotten blasted with snow the last couple weeks. Hoping for next weekend. There’s Points waiting for us…😆

Awesome finds man. I love the scrapers as well. I have a case for the best ones I have found and if you have seen some of my vids I find them often around our Dalton sites with fine working. Very important tool for every day life and hunting. Thanks for sharing and congrats to your daughter! Keep taking her along.

Hey Ben always enjoy your videos I like seeing y’all finding the old stuff. Some real beauty’s. There’s a big construction site just south of cookeville right next to a creek wanted to walk it but they have signs all around.

Nice finds brother, take her as much as you can, my second son really took to hunting them with me, he has his own case full. He's in high school now. We don't get to go together as often as I'd like any more.
Got ya a cutie there brother. Nice scrapers the ones you shown with the rounded tip I call them cobbs reversed type lol jokingly but when you think about it the time, outline of piece,flaking all seem to match. Tools are a hard thing to get any info about. Only way to figure comon tools is the duplication of them how many you find the same shape, design. Nature seldom duplicates and that is the real key to diserning tools from just rocks or waste rock. thanks for sharing brother.👍👍💤

Your on some killer sites,your killing it this year can't wait to see what you pull next. I know it's a great feeling when your kid pulls there first point I took my son and when he pulled his first point I had it papered for him since then he's pulled over a dozen including a translucent drill,God is good.

I’ve been slammed at work but did finally get out a couple days ago for the first time in months and josey whales put a hurting on me as usual haha. He found two killers right under my nose. Hate hearing things have been slow for ya but winter is just around the corner baby. I’m not sure if I’ll post anymore on here but will be out and about hot and heavy here real soon. Killer flaked knife . That Paleo appears to be an Eden .JMO scarce but not unheard of in ten.
That Lerma was fluted on one side. The long flute came from the base, look at the direction of the ripples near the tip. The small flute on the other side was an impact fracture.

This is a very famous rock around this town, awesome!! Got to love it when the kids take interest in your hobbies!! History told and experienced first hand is amazing!! Days like that will be remembered forever!! I know when my dad took me detecting for Civil war relics in the 70's when I was a kid it will never be forgotten by me. I can tell you what we found and where to this day and I have everything we ever found, priceless to me!
Couldn’t have put it better brother and I hope I’m lucky enough to have many more memories with my kids. God willing of course. I’m glad you got those precious memories with your father. That’s a huge part of why I started this channel. One day me and whales will be gone but hopefully my kids and grandkids can watch there crazy father loving life and appreciating history.
