2nd Review of this: Apart from the awesome lighting, colors, artwork, and in-your-face abrupt and GORGEOUS tweening, I do notice some details. the wording at the back is perfectly timed, as well as the theatre curtains for the background ("I used to say my real gift was acting") and the lighting effects used. Plus, not to mention how his green-lit eyes look and the fragments of cracked visions in front of him.
His door is also lit up at the back at 0:18 and 0:29, plus during when the lyrics are saying "Okay". his gift is directly tied to the unfortunate circumstances hes in, everyday he might as well convince himself that everything is fine when it's not, to continue living on.
Additionally, I love the short segment at 0:21, the words "always hungry. never satisfied..." hit hard honestly. speaking of hungry, the last frame his plate with what looks like teardrops, the plate is already symbolic of how much he craves and deserves love but never manages to get it (something which is not his fault, and unfortunately happens a lot in reality), the teardrops is just another gut-punching layer of angst.
This whole animation in general has a vibe of being graceful but in-your-face, if you know what I mean
You put a lot of work in this, and you deserve recognition for it, and here I am recognizing this masterpiece of an animated craft.
