ive seen some comments talkin about how it shouldve been isabela or mirabel as they fit the song more (and its a good suggestion), but consider this.... i love the triplets and i wanted an excuse to draw them lol :)

@@gachakai.2 so, this song (from what I can grasp) is about following trends to conform, and the singer not doing so. In the animatic, Bruno is the singer, and if you interpret trends as whatever Abuela says to do, then it seems that Bruno breaks out of the mould (by going missing and being the odd one out) where Pepa and Julieta follow Abuela to support the community while sacrificing their personal lives for their powers (more so with Pepa than Julieta)
I love the reversal of this meme! Most of the time, it’s people breaking out of the mold and breaking free, but with Bruno, he’s falling away from the family and that wasn’t his choice. Love it!

This is so beautiful! You really drew them all so well with so much personality and color! This song really represents how Bruno wouldn't go along with his siblings to just whatever Abuela wanted. And instead he did his own thing. Casting him out and making him the Black Sheep of the family where the rest of his family just left him behind. I Love the last part with him falling through the shards of his own glowing green vision as Pepa tells everyone not to talk about her brother out of hurt from abandonment.
I love this, especially the frame with green glass parts falling around him.. it really takes me back to his shattered visions :)

Thank you. This made my 2022 and partially restored my faith in the animation meme community.
The fact that the glass was green that bruno shattered into made it look like the vision was the reason he was outcast (thrown threw glass)
It's not this mans fault the stupid candle gave him that gift. He doesn't make bad things happen. He just sometimes sees the bad things that happen. Also it's called a "gift" for a reason. It's used to help the family. This is a really good representation to what it feels like to be left out or something along the lines of that. Fantastic work!
This is a clever idea for representing what happened to Bruno! I like the fact that after the glass breaks and he falls, the glass shards around him turn green. Nicely done! :D
I love how Bruno is falling away from Pepa and towards Julieta, seen how Pepa's side of the family is more negative towards Bruno than Julieta's side of the family
The only person who ever said something nice during "We Don't Talk About Bruno" was Isabela like 😭

this perfectly shows Bruno's backstory- this like 40 second animation has so much action and emotion put into it! and also your art style is great :)

i felt so bad for the triplets in this movie. pepa probably has only a few individuals in her life that can calm her down easily, and bruno was most likely one of them since theyre brother and sisters. i think julieta would have been the golden child, being the oldest and arguably most useful and least chaotic gift of the bunch. she would have had to stay strong for pepa and might have not have time to greive herself. and of course bruno had to suffer the most. every call for his name, every tear they shed for him, every time they talked bad about him, he had to hear it all. and even after everything, he loves his family more than anything. bruno had every right to be reunited with his sisters and im glad they're together again. now they can really be a family now that the 3rd peice of their life is back
