William. Thank you so much for bringing your extensive knowledge here. I am not a youngster as they say but my interest in Jukeboxes has been sparked. Please carry on posting. Thanks from the UK 👍
That is the problem I am currently having. I press three numbers, and it catches the first two, but just spins and spins and never catches the third. I'm gonna try every you suggested.
Can you help! I have a 464 that got working for my first jukebox fix but the records skip. I tried a new stylus, oiled the shaft, tried different records, made sure wires were out of the way, changed tone arms spring weight checked to make sure no obstructions were I. The way all to no avail. It seems that the tone arm moves over the record but I need a slight force to dm so. Any ideas? Thenks. David
there is a spring under the tonearm. I would move it one notch in closer to the base to increase the tone arm pressure slightly. If this doesn't help, there is a spring steel "keeper spring" located to the back left of the tonearm base in the black cam. This is meant to slow the descent of the tonearm onto the record and if it is bent or broken, the tonearm skips across the record immediately upon landing.......
I am only useful for Rockolas 436-470. Those are the models I have the most experience with and parts.........if you have one of these models, you can reach me on FB. I am often giving advice on the Rockola Jukebox Club group on FB. And that is also a great way for you to ask a specific question and get quality responses.
have a 52280-A amp rockola 477/481 jukebox looking for the male and female connectors on the pc boards of that anp any help would be helpful thank from john
