I agree! Maybe I could do that, but I had to follow omori animation rules (1 static pose + 2 additional redraw sprites) I though mb that would be added when he gets hit or have emotion status?

@@pennovichartSome bosses have a “phase change” (Exclusively the parasite known as HUMPHREY, for some reason), though most bosses go through the different emotional stages. I’d say MANIC works with Spamton, with an ACT/attack like BOSSMAN HERO’s deal thing. For his idle, maybe make his head rotate, given how bosses like SWEETHEART have a little more motion to them (Her mace swings)

Also yeah, I referenced Sweetheart battle sprite. It uses 4 frames (3 sprites + 1 reused back and forth) just as I did🤔 mace is interesting detail and it confused me at first too (from tech perspective)
