- A sweet and surprising scene in episode 8! Nathan talks about how he CANNOT feel anything. With his new girlfriend, he says that he cannot feel her skin or even his skin.
Yet, when Audrey gives Nathan a quick kiss on the cheek, he FEELS it. Instantly. For a man who cannot feel that is a sweet surprise!
Could Audrey be the ONLY woman that he can actually feel?

I adore them together! This scene made me a HUGE shipper of these two. I know that Duke is sexy and everything. But Duke can have any gal he wants. While with Nathan, he cannot. Nathan is different in that he cannot feel anything. And with Audrey, he is able to be himself. And now that he can FEEL her, I'm rooting for them together. I just think Nathan deserves some happiness. And Audrey brings out the softer side of him. They match each other nicely. Total opposites. He is the silent type, while she is out spoken.

And after this it was so cute when he deliberately wanted to touch her. All the awkward crush moments. I think i need to re watch this show.

nathan's expression was the best part of the episode, maybe even the best part of the season. his dry wit had me hooked from the first episode. go nathan!!

I love this scene! Haven is a great show and Nathan is my favorite character! I so adore the look on his face at the end, I hope he and "Audrey" end up together (officially), and I am really looking forward to finally seeing some new eps!
@BetaArtemis Yes, Lucas is terrific in this scene. His reaction is also a huge contrast to when Nathan was trying to make things happen with Jess. And that did not exactly work. He did not have this type of an intense reaction with Jess. Beautiful to watch. And Audrey is so sweet with how she kisses him. Kind of quickly and a bit shyly, even!
He is like:"I can feel her!I can actually feel her!
@WolfQueene They are adorable! To be honest, the SHIPPY action truly starts in episode 8, this episode. From then on, it's pretty shippy! In the first few episodes, Nathan and Audrey meet and slowly start to get to know each other. They become friends. THEN comes this phenomenal scene, and things start to get more intense and interesting and romantic even! But before episode 8, it's a slow build. And these actors have such a sweet chemistry! You can't help but like them together!

I think it is a shock to his system....because he had been numb for much of his life....and knowing that she is the only one that he can feel....he would do everything in his power to hold onto that lifeline.

@greenleo111 i totally agree with your take on the shippyness timeline. it was so amazing to watch these two characters evolve, bond and bloom around each other. although i have to say i fell for nathan during the first episode. the scene where he says he can feel ice and then just says no. haha

I have a question. Why can't nathan feel audrey in the eps leading up to this. They were touching in welcome to haven when se got him out of the way of the semi and he got her out of her car that was gonna go over a cliff just to name a few in one ep!
Nicola Louise This was six years ago😭 but I’m still gonna respond.I just started watching but I think it was because he started getting feelings for her. He was always there when she called and he only wanted to hang out with her. This is when he first started to fall in love with her. He didn’t know her then and then he got to know her and it developed over time

In case you're wondering the music that is playing is coincidentally called "Nathan Feels It"...it plays pretty much in every scene that has Audrey and Nathan alone together.

Well...becoming familiar with what her touch feels like was how he knew that the Chameleon had tried to kill Audrey.
Hey, I don't watch this series, but why can't he feel stuff, like his own skin and etc..?
Because like most of the residents of Haven, he himself is troubled, but his trouble is a minor one. His affliction is that he cannot feel the touch of his own skin or the skin of others and he can't feel anything...not even pain. But Audrey is the only thing he can be able to feel....because Audrey is immune to the troubles.
They never before touch directly...skin to skin....before that, they touched through their clothes!

He lost his feeling when he was young because Lucy came around but then she stopped the troubles for another 27 years and he got it back and then when it was time for Audrey to come around he lost it again.

Her love interest. Haha "Nathan" Drake. Now every time she says Nathan I gush and feel happy. Love the game! LOVE THE SERIES! Nathan/Audrey FOREVER!
