Dollar Tree | Big Lot’s Christmas Lighted Gift Box DIY

- In this Dollar Tree Big Lot’s Christmas Lighted Gift Box DIY, I take plastic chopping mats from Dollar Tree apply deco mesh to the outside of them. Next I hot glue them together to make a Gift Box. Then I add ribbon and a bow to make a festive Christmas box for my home decor. I show how easy and inexpensive it is to decorate your home with items from the Dollar Tree.
Materials Used:
Chopping Mats 2 to a package from Dollar Tree need 3 packages.
Corner Guard from Lowe's
Ribbon of your choice mine came from Big Lot's.
Battery operated white lights from Lowe's.
Elmers Craft Bond Spray Adhesive from Walmart.
Glue gun

so many ideas come to mind including making a cone shape for the body of an angel and creating wings and cover with the same material you used to create a tree topper using battery operated led lights.

Well done. I'll have to give this a try. As I was watching you I just thought of something to hide the green wires. Put the whole string of lights inside the cardboard box, poke holes in the box and then poke the lights out through the holes.

I have seen the strings spray painted white. You would just have to tape up the lights and the plug with blue painters tape. I Love ❤️ It.

Great idea! Would it be easier to put the sides together using a longer piece of the corner guard and then use the glue gun on the inside? I don't think I am coordinated enough to do it your way!!
