man it's satisfying to see Charlie be the one to come out on top. I'll bet he ended up with the little red haired girl in this version.
+Garrett Knisley Yea but Linus didn't deserve that kind of life.
+GoldFusion
At least Charlie didn't kick his sister Lucy square in the face like she probably deserved.
+Peter W
The reply concerning Lucy was regarding Goldfusion, and his comment that LINUS didn't deserve that kind of life. Lucy is the older sister of Linus. At least Charlie didn't kick her in the face (when she dragged away the football at the last possible moment).
+Karl Mark Lucy is not his sister but Sally is.
+GoldFusion Linus was weak man, he could never let goof a damn blanket, he could have gotten laid but he was scared of Charlie's obsessive sister and he was schizo/delusional thinking a Great Pumpkin was real lol wtf he needed a padded room and tons of meds.
charlie got out, that’s why he didn’t totally self destruct. coming back home is when you see why you left in the first place.
Thomas Wolfe had it straight...
Straight up
Word. Im at home for no more than two days and i shouldve left yesterday. Time to go!!!
Exactly why I'm not going back to the shithole town I grew up in
I once visited the old council estate where I grew up, I have never been more glad that I got out on the day I turned 18, the whole place and everyone in it could burn down and it would be a benefit to society.
You think it’s gonna be about Charlie’s continued depression, but turns out, it was about the people around him, and how he benefited from their absence.
Depression is one of the natural states of life. When people accept that and learn to use it for good, good things happen. No one is "happy" all the time. That's not the way life works.
@@foobarmaximus3506 No you’re thinking about common depression. Major depression is a diagnosed mental disease.
I dunno, he looked pretty miserable, again, after he stopped flipping everyone off...
@@foobarmaximus3506 not exactly
And what losers they were LOL
I love happy endings.
No happynes only reality
It seems he doesn't have a family tho.
Sadge
Yep, this is exciting.
So does your granddad
It's somewhat depressing..lol
It took almost 70 years, but he did it. He finally kicked the football. You're a good man Charlie Brown.
He actually does kick it once in the old series when he was turned invisible by Snoopy's magic show.
@@Blahbevava Did ya lose something?
@@TheTallMan50 what's the matter? lol
@Michael Kelligan Too late, we already discussed this but thanks for joining in.
Good Grief Lucy Lol
Charlie Brown actually succeeded in life, he has a nice well paying job, lives in a nice city, and is mentally competent. Funny that everyone picked on Charlie Brown and called him “failure face” and he was the one whom was successful in life.
Whom?
Plus he has a motorcycle too
Linus: Hey I was nice
When you read the credits and realize he made this up lmao.
yeah everybody was meesed up ,unleess Charlie
Snoopy's gravestone legit made me cry inside.
Me, too. It would have been nice to see what Woodstock was up to, but something tells me he had joined Snoopy in the great beyond by this point.
Wood stock is dead too. Look when Lucy calls Charlie to kick the football. There is a little tree next to Snoopy's tombstone with a nest in it and a small tombstone in the nest
@@jarinazf9683 Good eyes.
He gave him the smack
Sniff, sniff, Snoopy and Woodstock 😢
Kinda sad about Linus. Pretty depressing actually. It was nice to see him finally tell off Lucy.
@Snake Plisken Yeah. Serial killer Linus is a bit difficult to swallow.
@@freduruk6623 Not really. He had thoughts of the Great Pumpkin 😆
Ironic about Linus.....
It was also sad yet expected from Pig Pen too...
It would've been crazy if Charlie Brown kissed Lucy after he kicked the football
This is the most accurate representation of getting old I’ve ever seen.
It’s all perception
@@legoose1380 That’s the way you perceive it...
carbo19, for Democrats far leftist. Come the right side and see the great things God can do for your life, I’ll be the best decision you’ll ever do, and don’t forget. Jesus Loves you!
So true!
@@emmanuel1687 shut the fuck up and stop putting politics in this
Charlie Brown was tempered by the crucible of relentless communal bullying and rejection through his childhood, he saw the world for what it was and marched on anyway. His expectations for life were not some lofty ideal, but a rational focus to endure as that was what he knew having never met a role model to aspire towards. Early on he was guarded from disappointment, while his abusive piers held fast to the repetitive behavior that they found their initial success on, not knowing those habits would ensnare them in a vicious cycle of self destruction. Being a close knit group they never developed beyond their comfort zone, as the grew up they couldn’t cope with expectations set upon them. While Charlie knew how to navigate relationships by demonstrating respect and mutual benefit, they alienated themselves through child like selfishness. Charlie demonstrated forgiveness, so much so as to visit his prior tormentors with the intent of starting over again, yet they rejected him and he recognized their self imposed prisons that were not his to tear down, Charlie as always marched on and left them to their fates.
It's kinda ironic. Charlie Brown was considered an unlucky, hapless, and pathetic outcast amongst the other kids, But after he finally decided to leave his abused life, he turned out more OK than those who consistently looked down in him while they eventually paved their own road of self destruction. Charlie Brown, you are a good kid.
Moral of the story : hold onto your integrity don't let others make you feel like you done something wrong just because you're a good guy (nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent ) you'll be the last one standing while the rest of them fall
This cartoon made Linus a hoarder and suicidal even though he was always pretty nice to Charlie Brown though.
@@Nightman221k it had nothing to do with Charlie Brown just Linus is a weird kid that created this Great pumpkin thing in his mind he's always been a little off-kilter
Facts
Hell to the yes!
Another moral: The best revenge you can get on those who hurt you is to live a good, happy and long life.
Lucy used to throw herself at Schroder. Makes perfect sense now.
Exactly he always seem to be irritated by her having a crush on him, now we see why..😁🌈
@@lonelyenchantress2172 what do u mean?
@@johnyd.productions he's gay
@@nearthecite2031 oh... ok
Yep he was after Franklin
Goddamn, this video kicked me right in the nuts.
This is a near perfect representation of what it was like to visit my hometown several months ago.
I can definitely relate, this hits especially when I was thinking about when I was on military leave, and was in town for a month. Everybody was still stuck in the same jobs or working even lesser wage. Saw some former tormenters, and they ain't doing so hot now, suffering from addictions, and have to be treated like children, to people having a bigoted way of thinking...... All I say is WOW, what a shame.... Some folks really need to do better instead of putting up some front like they are the experts of life.
Where did you grow up? Israel? lol
@@foobarmaximus3506 USA, in a really small desert town out west.
@@Firstname137 congratulations
Most of the US is exactly like this. Shitty little sad towns where people live out their lives unfulfilled
Schroeder's obsession with rock hard bodies started with that damn Beethoven statue.
i -
Ain't you precious.
His Beethoven statue is the only bust that he likes.
In addition to piano, looks like he picked up the skin flute.
The funny thing is that this theme of Charlie Brown leaving his home town and benefitting is actually canonical. He went to summer camp in a story arc in the comics, getting away from his usual environment and he was actually quite well liked by the kids there
That happened to me once on a field trip. Kids liked me. For a moment the interminable pressure of loserdom was lifted. Then I went to school the next day and it was right there again.
Ironically, Charlie is now the LEAST depressing member of his peer group... XD
idk, Schroeder looks like he enjoys being a bottom.
idk marcy and peppermint patty seem pretty happy together
It’s hilarious he’s the only one who ended up OK
Marci and Peppermint Patty seem to have ended up OK.
@@carultch they both have HPV
All the teasing he endured as a kid made Charlie Brown mentally tough. Of course he made it.
@@Amory-wd3ws not the worst thing to live with
@@Amory-wd3ws HPV is very common and very usually clears up on its own with light treatment and monitoring it, or even just your immune system itself can fight it off in a few years without meds. Either way, an STD you share between just you and your partner isn't bad at all. If Patty was out sleeping around knowingly spreading it just because then yeah I'd agree, she's fucked up. I think what more alarming is the fact it seemed like Patty and Marcie have been together this whole time and HPV isn't a life long STD, so who has Patty been sleeping around with, hmm?
This video is great. It shows a man that became successful as an adult albeit, setbacks, being picked on and humiliated as a boy.
When I go to my high school reunions, I put emphasis on how my former classmates turned out as adults, not what they were as children or teenagers.
Charlie Brown was no “Wally Cleaver” but he became a successful adult.
The Peen-Nuts scene had me LMAO. Especially with the improvised Christmas dance scene.
Maybe he got married to Heather, The Little Red-Haired Girl, became rich and famous, had a family of many children of his own and even moved to the city for a new life in the future.
In THIS clip Charlie Brown might be gay/bi. He did go to a club called Peen-nuts for some reason.
@@Nightman221k I think he just caught wind where Schroder and Franklin were by asking the friends he saw and well, stumbled into that. He doesn't even talk to them after seeing it, he just leaves. It also doesn't say when he left town so for all he knows Peen-nuts is just a regular club that was built after he left.
Good one.I wonder what happened to Sally though...
@@Whatisthisstupidfinghandle I don't know. If she was, Charlie wouldn't dare to visit him. I mean, why would he approach his sister's murderer in such a friendly way? He most likely would've done justice with his own hands...
Nah, he's still messed up, probably moreso than when he was a child. Living in a city doesn't mean anything.
For those of you who don't know yet, the theme song for the Peanuts parody from Animation Domination High-Def is actually a parody of the theme song for "Louie," a comedy-drama TV series with Louis CK writing, directing, creating, editing, producing, and acting as a fictional version of himself in the TV series.
The song used by Louie CK was “Brother Louie” by Stories
ua-cam.com/video/jidMaFbmaok/v-deo.htmlsi=qnNdpF-NDRo2u_ms
Reminds me of when I finally came home from the Marines after 20 years....
This has to be the most cathartic and well earned ending for any Poorly Treated Fictional Character..
I was looking for A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS......O M G 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was hilarious
I had such high hopes for Linus. He was always the voice of reason, except for that Great Pumpkin fetish.
My favorite take on Charlie Brown trying to kick the football is from Mad Magazine where Lucy is holding the ball in Charlie Brown walks a little bit away from her to run up and kick it but instead of kicking the ball he purposely kicks the crap out of her.
That's also where he got his kite stuck in electrical wires and was fucking electrocuted
Family Guy rendition with Peter Roadhouse Griffin putting the smack down on Lucy's ass for the win!
I'm just mad that Violet or whatever her name was didn't get what she deserved. She made Lucy look nice
You mean Freida? Or the original Patty?
@@kristinadospoy7347No. Violet is a different character. She's a brunette girl.
This is almost exactly how I see would see the characters as adults tbh, specifically Charlie.
Not necessarily, remember the Batman villain, Kite Man?
I kind of imagine Linus living happier. He was attached to his blanket and his Great Pumpkin thing is funny, but other than that he was wise beyond his years and a good counterbalance and buddy to Charlie Brown.
@@Nightman221k yeah. I would’ve also thought Schroeder would be successful like Linus. Although, if Charlie lived another life besides this one, I could see him becoming a teacher so he can help kids in the same boat he was in.
@@Nightman221k so true
@@cynicalcharclone5894 It was hard for me to imagine which Charlie Brown’s career would have, but a guidance counselor would be such a perfectly fitting job for Good Old Charlie Brown! Honestly, he’s always been good with younger kids and is patient and understanding.
Lot of people say It’s good Charlie ended up on top but if you read the credits it makes you realize he made this whole thing up lmao.
I don’t see many people talking bout that lol
Yes, he had to, none of the gang were in any shape to help.
That ending. Seeing his old friends self destruct really hit him hard.
This was put together so well. I would watch the series if they made one.
I miss watching Charlie Brown Christmas with my family. Popcorn and Kool-Aid. There was no microwaves and one TV with four channels at best. Last one left. Wish one full day with parents and siblings.
This was surprisingly wholesome. Loved it.
And Charlie made out great, by comparison to the others. Often times, the one that gets shit on the most becomes the most sympathetic and genuine. Why pretend when people think you’re a blockhead anyway? 🐾
You missed the end: this is the episode that CHARLIE BROWN made, where he gets his revenge.

As if any of the rest were in a position to tell the tale?
Man …you had me laughing out loud… I really love the three holiday specials and SNOOPY COME HOME…. This is so fun .
Peter Robbins, the boy who played Charlie Brown, spent four years in prison for stalking and making threats.
Goooodnight Everybody!
I have a strong suspicion Sally is somewhere in Linus's home. 🤣🤣🤣
Something tells me she's buried under all that trash................
Linus was living that pandemic life before the rest of us.
"how you been?"
"I don't know, can't tell anymore."
It's sad when you can relate to this. 🗿
Charlie Brown grew up to be a world famous cartoonist that brought joy to millions: Charles Shultz.
I guess Sally got over her obsession for Linus.
I didn't see her in this vid ...maybe one of the bodies?
She was one of the bodies in Linus’ home.
@@Tigerman1138 ...
Linus probably chopped her up and has her in his freezer.
This needs to be a full length feature. Love it.
Absolutely in tune with modern times and situations, hysterically funny, just what the old classic needs. . . a Re-Boot! Fantastic Job.
Wow, never knew Charlie Brown was so talented, able to animate, direct, and produce a whole animated cartoon and publish it on UA-cam.
1:43 even Woodstock is dead.
Even Charlie realizes this.
LOL there’s a little tombstone in the nest.
@@TheRealNormanBates I didn't notice that. Thanks!
OMG, this is such a great Peanuts interpretation of Louie C.K.! It looks like the video is from 2012 but I just came across it now. Well done!
Charlie riding his motorcycle out of town with the bird up is a moment everyone should get to live.
0:06 - Does anyone notice a familiar hat and sweater…..
Stan Marsh?
Man, this should be turned into a longer movie -- like 30 minutes or so. This has the makings of a great comedy, if you ask me.
Snoopy ain’t dead he’s still fighting the red baron in the skies
We wish
Out of everyone there, Charlie Brown was the only one that grew up normal
That intro theme feels very 70s
The Louie opening pun...😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭 was awesome. Cool upload, thank you!
This was TOO GOOD. I guess living better is the best revenge.
This should be an adult swim series.
Wow I didn’t expect him to curse Lucy out😂 That is a long time coming.
I love how old Charlie Brown has more hair than the actual one
I like that groovy remake of the Charlie Brown theme song that plays in the intro.
1:10: bro i cant- I need avocados,a bunch of water and to watch things about the canceled series of Ever after high.
Crazy thing is that the original voice actor for CB became a psycho. He threatened to kill the landlord of the trailer park he lived in and was accused of sexual assaults and stalking his exes.
He also threatened a sheriff and went to prison for four years (including a stint in a psychiatric hospital.)
It happens
And now, he’s dead.
Good grief...
He took his life a year or two ago
Imagine Charlie Brown owns his own kite company.
And sells them on Amazon
@@ArtStoneUS LOL, great 'Amazon' (rainforest) joke!
i love that charlie brown wrote, animated and directed everything in the video, implying what youre seeing is his bias
What a way to start 2021, with a big fat smile on my face!
I was going to inquire about Woodstock's whereabouts, but then I saw the tiny tombstone.
I like how Charlie says to Linus "ok imma gonna go" in a whisper.
Homies got each others back lol
Good Grief! It took a l-o-n-g time for Charlie to tell Lucy where to go, but for me the wait was gratifying. This video clip underscores the reality that the chums of our youth aren't always the good people we made them out to be in our minds. Going back to search out former friends can often be a disappointing experience. More tears are shed over answered prayers than not.
SO TRUE MY FRIEND SO TRUE 😥😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
How have I not seen this before??? 😂
I always want to watch this for the holidays. I then resend it to the fam. Plz make more.
there are only 3 characters they did injustice: Linus, Pigpen, and Schroeder.
Poor poor schroeder.
@@dishdachshund9463 I don't care he's gay but I always imagine him being a pianist master.
Schroeder would have ended up a classical pianist. His career path is the most obvious of the gang (though Peppermint Patty becoming an athlete or Lucy a therapist seem pretty logical as outcomes for them)
Yeah and even Franklin... I even see Charlie Brown and Lucy’s futures better than this!
@@NAVEMAN3 exactly! At least a professional pianist
Two things:
1. I loved Charlie at the 🍕 place, likely one of the $1/slice places famous in NYC, and the subway stairwell.
2. Charlie not falling for Lucy’s 🏈 trick.
@TrueKen : It was supposed to. It was a direct parody.
It was a direct parody of the opening of the tv show Louie, with Louis CK
@1:48 Oh how we've been waiting years for this! 😂😂
🎶 Charlie Charlie Charlie Charleeeeee... Charlie Charlie Charlie Charlaaaaay 🎶
😂
Oh my God! That was the best thing I ever saw at the end! LOL
Oh my god I wasn’t sure it was possible for my childhood to be ruined but they really did it
And Charlie Brown is a multimillionaire. After all Lucy did to Charlie, his last comment to her was appropiate.
"Hey Linus, how you been?"
"I don't know, can't tell anymore"
Oof, thats a very relatable mental illness feeling
This makes me think of my life now that I'm 34. Everyone I've known most my life including me has gotten older and now often have serious problems even if we were able to be successful and those friendships have diverged so much we don't really have anything to talk about now.
0:51 why does the blanket grow with him? by this point it should be the size of a rag or a tissue
RIP Snoopy
😂😂😂 linus is a hoarder still with his blanket..Haha 😂😂😂
Outstanding! The Louie bit was very clever lol
Charlie Brown finally won one.
This manages to go contrary to the work of Schultz, Bill Melendez, not *really* insult either one, and be very entertaining at the same time. Great stuff!!
That's how I feel about Newport News, Virginia. I don't regret leaving.
Lucy's FUPA, Linus and his dead animal hoarding, Jesus Krist Schroeder!
1:48 this is the best scene
I love the part at the end where he remembers his childhood trauma and tells Lucy off 🤣🤣🤣
The song that is playing while Charlie walks down the street seems to be a parody of Brother Louie by The Stories
Back in the day several bands would released the same new song at the same time ..internet search it it's kind of interesting compared to nowadays
That schroeder clip tho 1:32
It's just so obvious. Everyone has taken advantage of Charlie, calling him "Blockhead" and "Failure Face". (sigh) ... that's not how it turned out. Charlie literally lives in the city, lives a good life, and has reached way more than success. However, here's everything that happened to everyone else:
Linus lives in a trashy house and hung himself.
Peppermint Patty gave HPV to Marcie.
Pigpen has YET to take a shower.
What the heck is Schroeder and Franklin "doing"?!
Lucy's still a jerk.
Well this is a lot darker now
It was very dark for me then, in the sixties, a not well liked kid.
After all these years Charlie is the one to come out on top
Hell yea charlie 🤘you got her and damn smart move leaving that hell hole🤣😂

So satisfying to see him tell Lucy off
Worth the wait Charlie Brown
I really love all of the representation of the gang as adults but, where's Sally?
0:11 Charlie aged better than Lucy, haha XD
Exactly
That's cuz he left the s******e town he grew up in at the 1st opportunity, either his family moved house to a different town when Charlie entered his teen years (after Snoopy & Woodstock died) or Charlie entered College & found work in the city spoken about at the start.
