Yes bleu encre does have a purple undertone i do quite like that though! However bleu nuit is a beautiful true navy blue its very neutral safe with any colours💙

Evelyn has always been on my wish list. I bet that was a tough realization to come to as not ever getting one again. I tend to not like crossbody bags. I would likely end up just wearing on my shoulder and it would be to long.
Bit annoying that i cant make it work without comprising the look of the bag i.e changing strap. But luckily i didnt loose any money to sell it and now i definitely know for sure it doesnt work for me unless they make it an adjustable strap lol. Honestly im not a huge fan of how a crossbody looks on me either but i know they are still convenient at particular times

Love the color and beautiful strap! Would you recommend an insert for the mini Evelyne ? Will the leather slouch or stretch out too much without an insert ? Do you recommend 7RP for the insert or the silk one you are using ? I’m wondering if the insert will just make the bag too small lol but also worried about the protection.
Hi Clara the silk one I had in that I didn't end up using because the board at the base was making the bottom of the Evelyne pop out and ofc I was worried that would become permanent. I ended up selling that insert on eBay 😅😅
So definitely I would stick with 7rp at least U will have peace of mind that it will help with the shape of the bag & won't stretch out the leather. Usually inserts U do loose a little space however 7rp are the thinnest of all inserts so shouldn't be noticeable the space lost also prevents U from overfilling which will stretch and distort the leather especially for a single leather piece bag it's far more vulnerable to stretching/distortion

Is the Evelyne something I can easily walk into the store and purchase or do I have to play the game for it? Also do they typically carry many colors at the store?
dont have to play the game but depends the size you want . the MINI Tpm is the most desired size and usually never available and unless you have a relationship with an SA its unlikely they will call you when available. but it does depend on your store, i heard in the USA lots of stores are desperate for sales so you dont even need a relationship

I would say try boutique and also stalk website. Refresh regularly because mini eve does become available online. Also if you are in US or Europe on the purseforum there is a thread called "post ebay/web hermes finds" people post on there as soon items are listed like mini evelynes especially.
If you are still out of luck you can contact my personal shopper bagsshoesaddicted by Instagram and she can try to get you one the price will not be more than what you pay in boutique as Europe has lowest pricing.

And yes absolutely its definitely a mini bag and it is subject to lifestyle. I use my medium bags more often than i ever use a mini bag of this size this would be purely short errands or a trip to the local park with my daughter lol.
