The wave 2 works perfect for that size room, but it’s not a real test if the outside temperature is that low already, if it’s sunny and in the outdoors with a temperature at least of 85 degrees can be a more accurate test of how well it will work and how fast it can cool that space. That was like testing an A/C on the dark side of the moon.

I absolutely regretted pur having the Ecoflow Wave 2. Just get a mini split. It's cheaper and works better. This product is over hyped.

Agreed. Works well for my application, however it’s definitely over-hyped. Would say a good price for the unit would be $400 new, and battery $300 - not the $1200 they’re asking.
It was able to drop the temperature of an insulated 165 sq ft room from 77 degrees to 71 degrees in exactly one hour, with outside temps ranging from 75 degrees to 79 degrees, putting out an average temperature of 50.2 degrees on max. The room was exposed to overhead sunlight with no clouds during this test.
Currently testing its ability to do 765 sq ft well insulated area, I’ll post the results if anyone requests.

Try that in triple digit weather and see how much air conditioning you actually get😢😮

Put the camper outside in 100 degree weather and see how this fails lol

The up to 8 hours is really misleading. When the battery is 1158 watt hour and the wave uses 450 watts when cooling at max cooling. Thats a little over 2 hours more realistically

Are eco flows good for like a van build

Yes if you’ll have the thing facing you all the time, and no if you expect it to cool off your entire build. I’ve been using mine in a semi truck during the day if it’s hot outside I just keep a hose facing me, the rest of the area is hot, at night it works great 😂

I have a few Eco flows and I know the wave is super expensive. I'm guessing you're not giving this to a homeless person

Correct we are not giving this specific one away to a homeless person this one will be for sale.
The bike campers where a limited series but we do plan on continuing to make many more building videos in the future to help inspire others.

That's pretty good for a small space. I watched the full build video and gotta say I'm impressed. I've watched you do the bike campers and I would love to see someone do this on a larger scale to help the functional homeless get from job to job and save money on housing.
