Modular course panels for the win! You can always leave section out and add in real rock, sand, logs, bridges, etc. Lots of fun!Consider going with a cement topcoat for the plaster cloth, a la 'Reactive Terrain'. MUCH more durable and doesn't get chipped up with use. Plus better grip and with a few washes, looks more like rock.
I ordered one of these from a guy on Etsy. I’ve been really wanting to do a pinched Toyota build that I got everything built and put together. I am extremely scared to paint it because I suck at painting. This thing looks awesome man.
Wet paint and sprinkle some sand on it for traction ? Oh and i seen one, Uncooked Beans instead of Airsoft balls for mudd pit. Color looks better. Could mix and match beans too. Just don't get them wet LOL
I figured it out... Instead of sand paper up an down. I used drop Paint thinner , q-tip and wipe a spot right to left and it fades Great with no abrasive look on edge. Does the scx24 come in a KIT ? I want to build one

Weathering looks good,have you tried to go over it with a dark wash
