It's actually kinda hard to find video where Al is actually the one being interviewed hah. But anyway, you can totally see that he has kept his feet on the ground. Such a great guy.
Well as a kid, I remember getting my ass beat for saying "hell" and for the longest time, people who wanted to be speech friendly would replace the word with "heck" or say "H E double hockey sticks"... so I was lead to believe "hell" was always a swear word. If it wasn't, then that just proves people are ignorant.
im glad he dosent swear!!!!!!! so many people ruin there career with the rong word said............. such as swearing and no one can get tired of al because he dosent SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!
I thought this was one of the better interviews i've seen, they didn't seem too rude and they were all about his work and what he's about. as if they were accually interested. not the interviewers now that just have a paper of questions and want to awnser them and get out.
Also, if you listen to the very end of "Phony Calls" they cut it out, but you know he was going to say "ass." It's like WAY is deliberately mocking the extensive use of profanity in today's music... its great! lol
I don't mind that clearly neither interviewer really knows who Weird Al is--they probably weren't responsible for booking him, and interviewers can't always get people they're fans of--but they could at least have done a modicum of research to find out the stuff that's already common knowledge. I can't imagine how bored he must get, getting asked the same half-dozen questions in every single interview. It's a wonder he hasn't stopped doing interviews altogether.

If you crank up the fade out of "Don't Download This Song" the last word is bastard. But other than that he's pretty clean.

Thank you for sharing! A great interview!
@ultrakev9 Nevermind... crocs. They get me every time.
I wonder what Al would be like now if he really became an architect!
Go see a live show next time he tours - he usually hangs out by his tour bus later (and he's super sweet and loves his fans!)
His name should be Awesome Al
I didn’t know that when weird Al was doing a photo shoot he used somebody else pit bull for the album cover
Someone should edit this interview just like he does with other celebrities. LOL. He would love it.

Well, he does have some slightly more PG-13 songs out there, but for the most part you're right.

How many times does the lady interrupt Al in this interview?
Does he have a hole in his right shoe?
Is it only me that thinks Russel brand looks like Weird al?
@NyeTunes no, there was one where the HOST kept dropping the f-bomb over and over about his hair. it's on his website under links
I bet weird Al didn’t’t like that
That's not true... He's used the word "hell" in Amish Paradise and "bastard" at the very very end of "Don't Download this Song"
@2:25 Can clearly see Al's Crocs..... Man card revoked. But if you do something awesome, I'll give you another chance.
