Our hope like blackholes are powerful, destructive and devouring all in it's path, our expectations fulfilled or unfulfilled lead to the revelation of the truth. Man I just started listening to Muse a month ago and I'm completely obsessed with them. I thought nothing could compare to their albums and then I found their live performances, they sound WAY better than the studio version and I couldn't even be more in love with this band now

Quick story on what an amazing person Matt Bellamy is.
I once met Matt and I went up to him and asked if I could shake his hand, he looks confused but said “sure”. I just told him I was such a big fan, had been for years and I thought he was a genius. He then gave me a hug and said “thank you so much, you have no idea how much that means to me”. I will never forget that day.

He did sound pretty same live eventhough i still enjoy the Studio version more, but if you want another group that does sound awesome Live you should check Linkin Park live cuz they're awesome as hell.

One of my favorite Muse songs. The audience is electric. The band's presence is omnipresent. The energy relentless!
starlight is the only muse song that makes me cry when played live. It's just means so much to me and was the first song I heard by muse that started the long, slippery spiral into addiction... also crying bc I've hugged him he's such a nice man and my only regret is not thanking him for his music helping me through the darkest parts of my life

@@JJRicks not off key, they played it on lower keys/notes, which is not uncommon during live performance because it's easier for the singer. a lot of rock band used to do this...
@@RD5500 off key from the published recording, I mean. Clearly the key doesn't matter, but my annoying absolute pitch can't let me un-hear it. I know how dumb that sounds, but it's a real thing. If you go in the comments of any "perfect pitch test" video, it doesn't take long before you notice other people complaining about the same phenomenon. ;D

I'm 36 years old and have 4 kids. Married the second time now but happoer than I've ever been. This song just reminds me of being just in love and void of anything else in life. Muse has always prided themselves on being able to resist becoming puppets of others, and that's why I enjoy their progression as a band. I have so much more respect for them knowing that they're making the music they stand by. You can be influenced by others but ultimately, you make your own choices.

Really warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes when the crowd started singing by themselves.
I play guitar and sing and up until now I've been okay with being a weekend warrior. But the way that Matt grabbed the camera added so much humanity to him. I realized that he's not just some icon but an actual human. He's just like us, except living the dream. Wow. How amazing would it be to have that much power in your music. To move so many people 😭😭😭
