★ Prerequisites:
• A modded PlayStation 3 that is on Custom Firmware.
• Any PS3 game that is in a folder format.
• Latest version of Multiman or Webman.
• FileZilla FTP Client Is the recommended way to do games being over 4GB+ in size

Thank you man came across some rom downloads that gave me a folder and couldn't get an answer on what I should be doing with it and was driving me nuts. Glad to know for sure that they aren't what I'm looking now and I can move on since I don't own a ps3.

do you think that i have to stick to the traditional ps3 games folder format created via disk rip by multiman and transfer each game folder format to the pc , convert to iso and put it back to the internal hdd ?
i have a huge library of ps3 original games and i want to put them into an external 4tb hdd via transfering them from the internal ps3 hdd to the external ntfs 4tb and play them directly from it , is this method possible with game folder format ?
i suppose there is no ps3 homebrew that can directly convert ps3 game disks into iso directly to the internal hdd
what if after converting the game folder using ps3 iso tool i get directly the .iso file without any winrar archive ? and since i have daemon tools installed i get it with daemon's symbol on?

There is a game thats stored on my ps3 hhd it's inaccessible because i no longer have the blu ray disc for it is it possible if i copy it to my usb with multiman and convert it to a ps3 iso through my pc will it work on my ps3 afterwards because I tried converting it to a iso with multiman but when I go to launch it it says it's not a ps3 iso

hi, i try to make killzone 3 to work. Tooke a 128gb sd card with ntfs(cause it lets me transfer more then 4gb sized files), The game apears on webman and also on multiman. When i try to start it, i get the error code 80010017.
What is wrong?
Its an Iso file ive made from a folder type file structure ive downloaded.
Did all this and it still doesn't show up on multi as a game but the file is there if i go into multiman files. Any advice?

Can I just split my pkg, put it on FAT32, install, then copy the game folder to NTFS via IrisMan and then create ISO via PS3 ISO Tools?
after joining an iso back together (fat32 method) and mounting it it freezes my console upon startup, anything i could be doing wrong ?

Hey Nagato why would you change it into an iso instead of leaving it as a game folder? Is it more stable as an iso? Should I convert all my game folders to iso
PS3 ISOs are far more stable and have better compatibility than the JB FOLDER PS3_GAME format, so you have an extremely good chance of playing the game without any BS. But if you would like, you can just take your chances as it is and use the folder format. I personally prefer ISO format

Really nice video! But you can do all of it directly on your PS3 with MultiMan only, just copy/cut your folder (1 folder per game) with your files within the MultiMan file manager to the hdd0/games directory and in that directory (press circle and) choose "paste as ISO. Much easier that way and uses less storage since you don't need the other software. Your method maybe is a little bit faster though. Still an excellent video and I love the music you chose for it. @LLBE How did you get it to work ? I tried Irisman today, multiman and webman but the hard drive isn't detected in any of them and it's formatted in NTFS..
DarkKnight731 did you figure it out, because I planing on doing that too, I want play games off my ntfs hard drive
@@E-Barr Yes you have to go into disk management on windows, then locate your NTFS hard drive and make sure the partition on it is formatted as mbr.. then use prepntfs which is actually in Irisman and you can use it

I followed everything but when I pressed start, it disappeared. It now says Conversion in Progress in my games folder but no idea what's going on and how long it will take.

What's the advantage of an ISO instead a folder structure? New to CFW that's why I'm asking. Thanks in advance!
ISO are just packed folders. If your game is in a folder format it is easier to swap files if your plan on changing things like EBOOT files or any content

I opened the iso in a zip format to see the files inside it and its different than usual. Would there be a way to play it ?
Games which are readed as JB (Game) Folders don't open up sometimes. There is a blackscreen when you start booting up a game. With ISO you have a greater compatibility and you don't get a black screen.
i think the iso is supposed to basically simulate a disc
Why convert it to iso? Just directly paste it in GAMES in hdd0 and it is ready to play. Somebody please tell me in detail.

I am unable to run assassin creed 3 on my ps3. The screen turns black. I was facing the same problem with AC 4 black flag for which i have downloaded the fix feom Internet. For AC 3 I'm unable to find the fix. Can anyone help me with this please.
So everything works but I find that every time I try to load a game I get error 8001007 or 8001006. Been pissing me off idk the only two games that work for me are far cry 4 and kingdom hearts 1.5. I've tried other games like persona and batman, they just do not load or they give me a black screen

That happens on a lot of call of duty games for some reason I’ve noticed. There’s a way to bypass it if you go into the game offline then start a offline game with bots, End the game and sign in and it should work

As far As I know, the ISO format has far greater compatibility with the PS3 than the JB (Game-folder format) has.

I did what you did but my files don't look like stacks of books, they look like sheets of paper. But the file extension is .iso though. Does this matter?

@@MrCougar214 Late but when you install Winrar there is an option to make it display for many extensions including .ISO, its disabled by default
