I found Chainsaw Man when only a handful of chapters were out. I had no idea of the wild ride I was about to go on and even now, I have no idea what's in store for the next few chapters. This manga is quickly making it's way up through my top ten.

I dont want a half passed ending like in fire punch but a proper ending even if it will be a bit bitter sweet. But knowing fujimoto he'll end it and we wont know what the fuck is going on.
Made me creeped out of her even more. Even in early chapters I felt she was creepy but didn’t know exactly what was wrong couldn’t pin it. Never have I cried for the villain before. Like, I love a dang good villain. But- man, when you create such a villain like this? This is what stupid directors have been trying to do with their movie villains for the past twenty years. She destroyed the antagonist trope and evolved it, the author did anyhow.

Three major arc? I don't think my heart can handle this. where is the story even going after this? Makima only gets better as the chapters continue. The route i can see the story going is Makima using chainsaw agility to erase existence and free humans from their mortal coil.
Rereading 84 yesterday it clicked that they finally explained how makima survived on the train when all the people were trying to get the bounty on denji.

No Punpun is his own villain. I agree that a lot of fucked up shit happened in his life, but in my opinion he always had the choice how to react to his reality. And he hurt himself deeply through his behaviour and through his interaction with another people. Man i really wish PunPun have got his Happy End.

Dude, it was never officially confirmed that there was 2 big arcs left and this arc being the first. Don't believe everything you see on the internet. I highly doubt Chainsaw Man is ending anytime soon. Still loads of questions unanswered. This series has potential that's above the freaking atmosphere and a lot of stuff teased, but Fujimoto just likes to toy around with the readers, that's all. It'll go on as long as the Primal Fears and Hybrid mysteries aren't solved. Plus this franchise looks like it has a rival in Jujutsu Kaisen. Both series are very similar to each other as well as close in sales. Competition brings out the best in one another.

I love the souls reference. Makima always felt like an evil person and Eren grew into that over the course of the story
